yoga-analena saṃdahya ghaṭa-śuddhiṃ samācaret // śodhanaṃ dṛḍhatā caiva sthairyaṃ dhairyaṃ ca lāghavam pratyakṣaṃ ca nirliptaṃ ca ghatasthaṃ saptasādhanam // śodhanaṃ dṛḍhatā ca eva sthairyaṃ dhairyaṃ dṛṣṭir manas tatra pragacchati tataḥ pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // puraskāraṃ tiraskāraṃ suśrāvyaṃ vā bhayānakam manas tasmān niyamyaitad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // puras-kāraṃ tiras-kāraṃ su-śrāvyaṃ vā bhayānakam manas tasmān niyamya etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // śītaṃ vāpi tathā coṣṇaṃ yan manaḥsparśayogataḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // śītaṃ va āpi tathā ca uṣṇaṃ yan manaḥ-sparśa-yogataḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // sugandhe vāpi durgandhe ghrāṇeṣu jāyate manaḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // su-gandhe va āpi dur-gandhe ghrāṇeṣu jāyate manaḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // madhurāmlakatiktādi rasaṃ gataṃ yadā manaḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // madhura-āmlaka-tikta-ādi -rasaṃ gataṃ yadā manaḥ tasmāt pratyāhared etad ātmany eva vaśaṃ nayet // śabdādiṣv anuraktāni nigṛhyākṣāṇi yogavit kuryāc cittānucārīṇi pratyāhāraparāyaṇaḥ // śabda-ādiṣv anuraktāni nigṛhya akṣāṇi yoga-vit kuryāc citta-anucārīṇi pratyāhāra-parāyaṇaḥ // vaśyatā paramā tena jāyate 'ticalātmanām indriyāṇām avaśyais tair na yogī yogasādhakaḥ // vaśyatā paramā tena jāyate 'ti-cala-ātmanām indriyāṇām a-vaśyais tair na yogī yoga-sādhakaḥ // prāṇāyāmair dahed doṣān dhāraṇābhiś ca kilbiṣam pratyāhāreṇa viṣayān dhyānenānīśvarān guṇān // prāṇa-āyāmair dahed doṣān dhāraṇābhiś ca kilbiṣam pratyāhāreṇa viṣayān dhyānena an-īśvarān guṇān // yathā parvatadhātūnāṃ doṣā dahyanti dhāmyatām tathendriyakṛtā doṣā dahyante prāṇanigrahāt // yathā parvata-dhātūnāṃ doṣā dahyanti dhāmyatām tatha īndriya-kṛtā doṣā dahyante prāṇa-nigrahāt // samaḥ samāsano bhūtvā saṃhṛtya caraṇāv ubhau saṃvṛtāsyas tathaivorū samyag viṣṭabhya cāgrataḥ // samaḥ sama-āsano bhūtvā saṃhṛtya caraṇāv ubhau saṃvṛta-āsyas tatha aiva urū samyag viṣṭabhya ca agrataḥ // pārṣṇibhyāṃ liṅgavṛṣaṇāv aspṛśan prayataḥ sthitaḥ kiṃcidunnāmitaśirā dantair dantān na saṃspṛśet saṃpaśyan nāsikāgraṃ svaṃ diśaś cānavalokayan // pārṣṇibhyāṃ liṅga-vṛṣaṇāv a-spṛśan prayataḥ sthitaḥ kiṃ-cid-unnāmita-śirā dantair dantān na saṃspṛśet saṃpaśyan nāsika-agraṃ svaṃ diśaś ca an-avalokayan // rajasā tamaso vṛttiṃ sattvena rajasas tathā saṃchādya nirmale sattve sthito yuñjīta yogavit // rajasā tamaso vṛttiṃ sattvena rajasas tathā saṃchādya nir-male sattve sthito yuñjīta yoga-vit // indriyāṇīndriyārthebhyaḥ prāṇādīn mana eva ca nigṛhya samavāyena pratyāhāram upakramet // indriyāṇi indriya-arthebhyaḥ prāṇa-ādīn mana eva ca nigṛhya samavāyena pratyāhāram upakramet // yas tu pratyāharet kāmān sarvāṅgān īva kacchapaḥ sadātmaratir ekasthaḥ paśyaty ātmānam ātmani // yas tu pratyāharet kāmān sarva-aṅgān īva kacchapaḥ sadā ātma-ratir eka-sthaḥ paśyaty ātmānam ātmani // sa bāhyābhyantaraṃ śaucaṃ niṣpādyākaṇṭhanābhitaḥ pūrayitvā budho dehaṃ pratyāhāram upakramet // sa bāhya-abhy-antaraṃ śaucaṃ niṣpādyā a-kaṇṭha-nābhitaḥ pūrayitvā budho dehaṃ pratyāhāram upakramet // tathā vai yogayuktasya yogino niyatātmanaḥ (sarve doṣāḥ praṇaśyanti svasthaś caivopajāyate) // tathā vai yoga-yuktasya yogino niyata-ātmanaḥ (sarve doṣāḥ praṇaśyanti sva-sthaś ca eva upajāyate) // [[iti śrī-gheraṇḍa-saṃhitāyāṃ gheraṇḍa-caṇḍa-saṃvāde jana-antike yoga-ārambhaṃ na kurvīta kṛtaś cet siddhi-hā bhavet // aviśvāsaṃ dūradeśe araṇye bhakṣavarjitam lokāraṇye prakāśaś ca tasmāt trīṇi vivarjayet // a-viśvāsaṃ dūra-deśe araṇye bhakṣa-varjitam loka-āraṇye prakāśaś ca tasmāt trīṇi vivarjayet // sudeśe dhārmike rājye subhikṣe nirupadrave tatraikaṃ kuṭiraṃ kṛtvā prācīraiḥ pariveṣṭayet // su-deśe dhārmike rājye su-bhikṣe nir-upadrave tatra ekaṃ kuṭiraṃ kṛtvā prācīraiḥ pariveṣṭayet // vāpīkūpataḍāgaṃ ca prācīramadhyavarti ca nātyuccaṃ nātinīcaṃ vā kuṭiraṃ kīṭavarjitam // vāpī-kūpa-taḍāgaṃ ca prācīra-madhya-varti ca na aty-uccaṃ na ati-nīcaṃ vā kuṭiraṃ kīṭa-varjitam // samyaggomayaliptaṃ ca kuṭiraṃ randhravarjitam evaṃ sthāne hi gupte ca prāṇāyāmaṃ samabhyaset // samyag-gomaya-liptaṃ ca kuṭiraṃ randhra-varjitam evaṃ sthāne hi gupte ca prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samabhyaset // hemante śiśire grīṣme varṣāyāṃ ca ṛtau tathā yogārambhaṃ na kurvīta kṛte yogo hi rogadaḥ // hemante śiśire grīṣme varṣāyāṃ ca ṛtau tathā yoga-ārambhaṃ na kurvīta kṛte yogo hi roga-daḥ // vasante śaradi proktaṃ yogārambhaṃ samācaret tadā yogo bhavet siddho rogān mukto bhaved dhruvam // vasante śaradi proktaṃ yoga-ārambhaṃ samācaret tadā yogo bhavet siddho rogān mukto bhaved dhruvam // caitrādiphālgunānte ca māghādiphālgunāntike dvau dvau māsau ṛtubhāgau anubhāvaś catuś catuḥ // caitra-ādi-phālguna-ante ca māgha-ādi-phālguna-antike dvau dvau māsau ṛtu-bhāgau anubhāvaś catuś catuḥ // vasantaś caitravaiśākhau jyeṣṭhāṣāḍhau ca grīṣmakau varṣā śrāvaṇabhādrābhyāṃ śarad āśvinakārtikau mārgapauṣau ca hemantaḥ śiśiro māghaphālgunau // vasantaś caitra-vaiśākhau jyeṣṭha-āṣāḍhau ca grīṣmakau varṣā śrāvaṇa-bhādrābhyāṃ śarad āśvina-kārtikau mārga-pauṣau ca hemantaḥ śiśiro māgha-phālgunau // anubhāvaṃ pravakṣyāmi ṛtūnāṃ ca yathoditam māghādimādhavānte hi vasantānubhavaś catuḥ // anubhāvaṃ pravakṣyāmi ṛtūnāṃ ca yathā-uditam māgha-ādi-mādhava-ante hi vasanta-anubhavaś catuḥ // caitrādi cāṣāḍhāntaṃ ca grīṣmaś cānubhavaś catuḥ āṣāḍhādi cāśvināntaṃ varṣā cānubhavaś catuḥ // caitra-ādi cā aṣāḍha-antaṃ ca grīṣmaś ca anubhavaś catuḥ āṣāḍha-ādi ca aśvina-antaṃ varṣā ca anubhavaś catuḥ // bhādrādi mārgaśīrṣāntaṃ śarado 'nubhavaś catuḥ kārtikādimāghamāsāntaṃ hemantānubhavaś catuḥ mārgādīṃś caturo māsāñ śiśirānubhavaṃ viduḥ // bhādra-ādi mārgaśīrṣa-antaṃ śarado 'nubhavaś catuḥ kārtika-ādi-māgha-māsa-antaṃ hemanta-anubhavaś catuḥ mārga-ādīṃś caturo māsāñ śiśira-anubhavaṃ viduḥ // vasante vāpi śaradi yogārambhaṃ tu samācaret tadā yogo bhavet siddho vināyāsena kathyate // vasante va āpi śaradi yoga-ārambhaṃ tu samācaret tadā yogo bhavet siddho vinā āyāsena kathyate // mitāhāraṃ vinā yas tu yogārambhaṃ tu kārayet nānārogo bhavet tasya kiṃcid yogo na sidhyati // mita-āhāraṃ vinā yas tu yoga-ārambhaṃ tu kārayet nānā-rogo bhavet tasya kiṃ-cid yogo na sidhyati // śālyannaṃ yavapiṇḍaṃ vā godhūmapiṇḍakaṃ tathā mudgaṃ māṣacaṇakādi śubhraṃ ca tuṣavarjitam // śāly-annaṃ yava-piṇḍaṃ vā godhūma-piṇḍakaṃ tathā mudgaṃ māṣa-caṇaka-ādi śubhraṃ ca tuṣa-varjitam // paṭolaṃ panasaṃ mānaṃ kakkolaṃ ca śukāśakam drāḍhikāṃ karkaṭīṃ rambhāṃ ḍumbarīṃ kaṇṭakaṇṭakam // paṭolaṃ panasaṃ mānaṃ kakkolaṃ ca śuka-āśakam drāḍhikāṃ karkaṭīṃ rambhāṃ ḍumbarīṃ kaṇṭa-kaṇṭakam // āmarambhāṃ bālarambhāṃ rambhādaṇḍaṃ ca mūlakam vārtākīṃ mūlakam ṛddhiṃ yogī bhakṣaṇam ācaret // āma-rambhāṃ bāla-rambhāṃ rambhā-daṇḍaṃ ca mūlakam vārtākīṃ mūlakam ṛddhiṃ yogī bhakṣaṇam ācaret // bālaśākaṃ kāla śākaṃ tathā paṭolapatrakam pañcaśākaṃ praśaṃsīyād vāstūkaṃ hilamocikāṃ // bāla-śākaṃ kāla śākaṃ tathā paṭola-patrakam pañca-śākaṃ praśaṃsīyād vāstūkaṃ hila-mocikāṃ // śuddhaṃ sumadhuraṃ snigdham udarārdhavivarjitam bhujyate surasaṃprītyā [surasaṃ prityā] mitāhāram imaṃ viduḥ // śuddhaṃ su-madhuraṃ snigdham udara-ardha-vivarjitam bhujyate sura-saṃprītyā [su-rasaṃ prityā] mita-āhāram imaṃ viduḥ // annena pūrayed ardhaṃ toyena tu tṛtīyakam udarasya turīyāṃśaṃ saṃrakṣed vāyucāraṇe // annena pūrayed ardhaṃ toyena tu tṛtīyakam udarasya turīya-aṃśaṃ saṃrakṣed vāyu-cāraṇe // kaṭv amlaṃ lavaṇaṃ tiktaṃ bhṛṣṭaṃ ca dadhi takrakam śākotkaṭaṃ tathā madyaṃ tālaṃ ca panasaṃ tathā // kaṭv amlaṃ lavaṇaṃ tiktaṃ bhṛṣṭaṃ ca dadhi takrakam śāka-utkaṭaṃ tathā madyaṃ tālaṃ ca panasaṃ tathā // kulatthaṃ masūraṃ pāṇḍuṃ kūṣmāṇḍaṃ śākadaṇḍakam tumbīkolakapitthaṃ ca kaṇṭabilvaṃ palāśakam // kulatthaṃ masūraṃ pāṇḍuṃ kūṣmāṇḍaṃ śāka-daṇḍakam tumbī-kola-kapitthaṃ ca kaṇṭa-bilvaṃ palāśakam // kadambaṃ jambīraṃ bimbaṃ lakucaṃ laśunaṃ viṣam kāmaraṅgaṃ piyālaṃ ca hiṅguśālmalikemukam // kadambaṃ jambīraṃ bimbaṃ lakucaṃ laśunaṃ viṣam kāma-raṅgaṃ piyālaṃ ca hiṅgu-śālmali-kemukam // yogārambhe varjayec ca pathastrīvahnisevanam // yoga-ārambhe varjayec ca patha-strī-vahni-sevanam // navanītaṃ ghṛtaṃ kṣīraṃ guḍaṃ śarkarādi cekṣavaṃ pakvarambhāṃ nārikelaṃ dāḍimbam aśivāsavam drākṣāṃ tu lavalīṃ dhātrīṃ rasam amlavivarjitam // nava-nītaṃ ghṛtaṃ kṣīraṃ guḍaṃ śarkara-ādi cā ikṣavaṃ pakva-rambhāṃ nārikelaṃ dāḍimbam a-śiva-āsavam drākṣāṃ tu lavalīṃ dhātrīṃ rasam amla-vivarjitam // elājātilavaṅgaṃ ca pauruṣaṃ jambujāmbalam harītakīṃ kharjūraṃ ca yogī bhakṣaṇam ācaret // elā-jāti-lavaṅgaṃ ca pauruṣaṃ jambu-jāmbalam harītakīṃ kharjūraṃ ca yogī bhakṣaṇam ācaret // laghupākaṃ priyaṃ snigdhaṃ tathā dhātuprapoṣaṇam manoabhilaṣitaṃ yogyaṃ yogī bhojanam ācaret // laghu-pākaṃ priyaṃ snigdhaṃ tathā dhātu-prapoṣaṇam mano-abhilaṣitaṃ yogyaṃ yogī bhojanam ācaret // kāṭhinyaṃ duritaṃ pūtim uṣṇaṃ paryuṣitaṃ tathā atiśītaṃ cāti coṣṇaṃ bhakṣyaṃ yogī vivarjayet // kāṭhinyaṃ duritaṃ pūtim uṣṇaṃ paryuṣitaṃ tathā ati-śītaṃ ca ati ca uṣṇaṃ bhakṣyaṃ yogī vivarjayet // prātaḥsnānopavāsādi kāyakleśavidhiṃ tathā ekāhāraṃ nirāhāraṃ yāmānte ca na kārayet // prātaḥ-snāna-upavāsa-ādi -kāya-kleśa-vidhiṃ tathā eka-āhāraṃ nir-āhāraṃ yāma-ante ca na kārayet // evaṃvidhividhānena prāṇāyāmaṃ samācaret ārambhe prathame kuryāt kṣīrādyaṃ nityabhojanam madhyāhne caiva sāyāhne bhojanadvayam ācaret // evaṃ-vidhi-vidhānena prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samācaret ārambhe prathame kuryāt kṣīra-ādyaṃ nitya-bhojanam madhya-ahne ca eva sāya-ahne bhojana-dvayam ācaret // kuśāsane mṛgājine vyāghrājine ca kambale sthūlāsane samāsīnaḥ prāṅmukho vāpyudaṅmukhaḥ nāḍīśuddhiṃ samāsādya prāṇāyāmaṃ samabhyaset // kuśa-āsane mṛga-ajine vyāghra-ajine ca kambale sthūla-āsane samāsīnaḥ prāṅmukho va āpyudaṅ-mukhaḥ nāḍī-śuddhiṃ samāsādya prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samabhyaset // nāḍīśuddhiṃ kathaṃ kuryān nāḍīśuddhis tu kīdṛśī tat sarvaṃ śrotum icchāmi tad vadasva dayānidhe // nāḍī-śuddhiṃ kathaṃ kuryān nāḍī-śuddhis tu kī-dṛśī tat sarvaṃ śrotum icchāmi tad vadasva dayā-nidhe // malākulāsu nāḍīṣu māruto naiva gacchati prāṇāyāmaḥ kathaṃ sidhyet tattvajñānaṃ kathaṃ bhavet tasmād ādau naḍīśuddhiṃ prāṇāyāmaṃ tato 'bhyaset // mala-ākulāsu nāḍīṣu māruto na eva gacchati prāṇa-āyāmaḥ kathaṃ sidhyet tattva-jñānaṃ kathaṃ bhavet tasmād ādau naḍī-śuddhiṃ prāṇa-āyāmaṃ tato 'bhyaset // nāḍīśuddhir dvidhā proktā samanur nirmanus tathā bījena samanuṃ kuryān nirmanuṃ dhautikarmaṇi // nāḍī-śuddhir dvidhā proktā sa-manur nir-manus tathā bījena sa-manuṃ kuryān nir-manuṃ dhauti-karmaṇi // dhautikarma purā proktaṃ ṣaṭkarmasādhane yathā śṛṇuṣva samanuṃ caṇḍa nāḍīśuddhir yathā bhavet // dhauti-karma purā proktaṃ ṣaṭ-karma-sādhane yathā śṛṇuṣva sa-manuṃ caṇḍa nāḍī-śuddhir yathā bhavet // upaviśyāsane yogī padmāsanaṃ samācaret gurvādinyāsanaṃ kṛtvā yathaiva gurubhāṣitam nāḍīśuddhiṃ prakurvīta prāṇāyāmaviśuddhaye // upaviśyā asane yogī padma-āsanaṃ samācaret gurv-ādi-nyāsanaṃ kṛtvā yatha aiva guru-bhāṣitam nāḍī-śuddhiṃ prakurvīta prāṇa-āyāma-viśuddhaye // vāyubījaṃ tato dhyātvā dhūmravarṇaṃ satejasam candreṇa pūrayed vāyuṃ bījaṃ ṣoḍaśakaiḥ sudhīḥ // vāyu-bījaṃ tato dhyātvā dhūmra-varṇaṃ sa-tejasam candreṇa pūrayed vāyuṃ bījaṃ ṣo-ḍaśakaiḥ su-dhīḥ // catuḥṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca kumbhakenaiva dhārayet dvātriṃśanmātrayā vāyuṃ sūryanāḍyā ca recayet // catuḥ-ṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca kumbhakena eva dhārayet dvā-triṃśan-mātrayā vāyuṃ sūrya-nāḍyā ca recayet // nābhimūlād vahnim utthāpya dhyāyet tejo vanīyutam vahnibījaṃ ṣoḍaśena sūryanāḍyā ca pūrayet // nābhi-mūlād vahnim utthāpya dhyāyet tejo vanī-yutam vahni-bījaṃ ṣo-ḍaśena sūrya-nāḍyā ca pūrayet // catuḥṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca kumbhakenaiva dhārayet dvātriṃśanmātrayā vāyuṃ śaśināḍyā ca recayet // catuḥ-ṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca kumbhakena eva dhārayet dvā-triṃśan-mātrayā vāyuṃ śaśi-nāḍyā ca recayet // nāsāgre śaśadhṛg bimbaṃ dhyātvā jyotsnāsamanvitam ṭhaṃ bījaṃ ṣoḍaśenaiva iḍayā pūrayen marut // nāsa-agre śaśa-dhṛg bimbaṃ dhyātvā jyotsnā-samanvitam ṭhaṃ bījaṃ ṣo-ḍaśena eva iḍayā pūrayen marut // catuḥṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca [kumbhakenaiva] dhārayet amṛtaplāvitaṃ dhyātvā prāṇāyāmaṃ samabhyaset // catuḥ-ṣaṣṭyā mātrayā ca [kumbhakena eva] dhārayet a-mṛta-plāvitaṃ dhyātvā prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samabhyaset // [vaṃ bījaṃ śoḍaśenaiva sūryanāḍyā ca pūrayet] dvātriṃśena lakāreṇa dṛḍhaṃ bhāvyaṃ virecayet // [vaṃ bījaṃ śo-ḍaśena eva sūrya-nāḍyā ca pūrayet] dvā-triṃśena la-kāreṇa dṛḍhaṃ bhāvyaṃ virecayet // evaṃvidhāṃ nāḍīśuddhiṃ kṛtvā nāḍīṃ viśodhayet dṛḍho bhūtvāsanaṃ kṛtvā prāṇāyāmaṃ samācaret // evaṃ-vidhāṃ nāḍī-śuddhiṃ kṛtvā nāḍīṃ viśodhayet dṛḍho bhūtvā āsanaṃ kṛtvā prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samācaret // sahitaḥ sūryabhedaś ca ujjāyī śītalī tathā bhastrikā bhrāmarī mūrcchā kevalī cāṣṭa kumbhikāḥ // sahitaḥ sūrya-bhedaś ca ujjāyī śītalī tathā bhastrikā bhrāmarī mūrcchā kevalī ca aṣṭa kumbhikāḥ // sahitau dvividhau proktau prāṇāyāmaṃ samācaret sagarbho bījam uccārya nirgarbho bījavarjitaḥ prāṇāyāmaṃ sagarbhaṃ ca prathamaṃ kathayāmi te // sahitau dvi-vidhau proktau prāṇa-āyāmaṃ samācaret sa-garbho bījam uccārya nir-garbho bīja-varjitaḥ prāṇa-āyāmaṃ dhārayet hṛdgalābhyāṃ samākṛṣya vāyuṃ vaktreṇa dhārayet // nāsābhyāṃ vāyum ākṛṣya mukha-madhye ca dhārayet hṛd-galābhyāṃ samākṛṣya vāyuṃ vaktreṇa dhārayet // mukhaṃ praphullaṃ saṃrakṣya kuryāj jālaṃdharaṃ tataḥ āśakti kumbhakaṃ kṛtvā dhārayed avirodhataḥ // mukhaṃ praphullaṃ saṃrakṣya kuryāj jālaṃ-dharaṃ tataḥ ā-śakti kumbhakaṃ kṛtvā dhārayed a-virodhataḥ // ujjāyīkumbhakaṃ kṛtvā sarvakāryāṇi sādhayet na bhavet kapharogaś ca krūravāyur ajīrṇakam // ujjāyī-kumbhakaṃ kṛtvā sarva-kāryāṇi sādhayet na bhavet kapha-rogaś ca krūra-vāyur a-jīrṇakam // āmavātaḥ kṣayaḥ kāso jvaraplīhā vyāptaṃ tejo-dhyānaṃ tad eva hi // bhruvor madhye manordhve ca yat tejaḥ praṇavātmakam dhyāyej jvālāvalīyuktaṃ tejodhyānaṃ tad eva hi // bhruvor madhye mana-ūrdhve ca yat tejaḥ praṇava-ātmakam dhyāyej jvāla-avalī-yuktaṃ tejo-dhyānaṃ tad eva hi // tejodhyānaṃ śrutaṃ caṇḍa sūkṣmadhyānaṃ vadāmy aham bahubhāgyavaśād yasya kuṇḍalī jāgratī bhavet // tejo-dhyānaṃ śrutaṃ caṇḍa sūkṣma-dhyānaṃ vadāmy aham bahu-bhāgya-vaśād yasya kuṇḍalī jāgratī bhavet // ātmanā saha yogena netrarandhrād vinirgatā vihared rājamārge ca cañcalatvān na dṛśyate // ātmanā saha yogena netra-randhrād vinirgatā vihared rāja-mārge ca cañcalatvān na dṛśyate // śāṃbhavīmudrayā yogī dhyānayogena sidhyati sūkṣmadhyānam idaṃ gopyaṃ devānām api durlabham // śāṃbhavī-mudrayā yogī dhyāna-yogena sidhyati sūkṣma-dhyānam idaṃ gopyaṃ devānām api dur-labham // sthūladhyānāc chataguṇaṃ tejodhyānaṃ pracakṣate tejodhyānāl lakṣaguṇaṃ sūkṣmadhyānaṃ parātparam // sthūla-dhyānāc chata-guṇaṃ tejo-dhyānaṃ pracakṣate tejo-dhyānāl lakṣa-guṇaṃ sūkṣma-dhyānaṃ parāt-param // iti te kathitaṃ caṇḍa dhyānayogaṃ sudurlabham ātmā sākṣād bhaved yasmāt tasmād dhyānaṃ viśiṣyate // iti te kathitaṃ caṇḍa dhyāna-yogaṃ su-dur-labham ātmā sa-akṣād bhaved yasmāt tasmād dhyānaṃ viśiṣyate // [[iti śrī-gheraṇḍa-saṃhitāyāṃ gheraṇḍa-caṇḍa-saṃvāde ghata-stha-yoge sapta-sādhane dhyāna-yogo nāma ṣaṣṭho1padeśaḥ //6// ]] samādhiś ca paraṃ tattvaṃ bahubhāgyena labhyate guroḥ kṛpāprasādena prāpyate gurubhaktitaḥ // samādhiś ca paraṃ tattvaṃ bahu-bhāgyena labhyate guroḥ kṛpā-prasādena prāpyate guru-bhaktitaḥ // vidyāpratītiḥ svagurupratītir $ ātmapratītir manasaḥ prabodhaḥ & dine dine yasya bhavet sa yogī % suśobhanābhyāsam upaiti sadyaḥ // vidyā-pratītiḥ sva-guru-pratītir $ ātma-pratītir manasaḥ prabodhaḥ & dine dine yasya bhavet sa yogī % su-śobhana-abhyāsam upaiti sadyaḥ // ghaṭād bhinnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā aikyaṃ kuryāt parātmani samādhiṃ taṃ vijānīyān muktasaṃjño daśādibhiḥ // ghaṭād bhinnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā aikyaṃ kuryāt para-ātmani samādhiṃ taṃ vijānīyān mukta-saṃjño daśā-ādibhiḥ // ahaṃ brahma na cānyo 'smi brahmaivāhaṃ na śokabhāk saccidānandarūpo 'haṃ nityamuktaḥ svabhāvavān // ahaṃ brahma na ca anyo 'smi brahma eva ahaṃ na śoka-bhāk sac-cid-ānanda-rūpo 'haṃ nitya-muktaḥ sva-bhāvavān // śāṃbhavyā caiva khecaryā bhrāmaryā yonimudrayā dhyānaṃ nādaṃ rasānandaṃ layasiddhiś caturvidhā // śāṃbhavyā ca eva khe-caryā bhrāmaryā yoni-mudrayā dhyānaṃ nādaṃ rasa-ānandaṃ laya-siddhiś catur-vidhā // pañcadhā bhaktiyogena manomūrcchā ca ṣaḍvidhā ṣaḍvidho 'yaṃ rājayogaḥ pratyekam avadhārayet // pañcadhā bhakti-yogena mano-mūrcchā ca ṣaḍ-vidhā ṣaḍ-vidho 'yaṃ rāja-yogaḥ praty-ekam avadhārayet // śāṃbhavīṃ mudrikāṃ kṛtvā ātmapratyakṣam ānayet bindu brahmamayaṃ dṛṣṭvā manas tatra niyojayet // śāṃbhavīṃ mudrikāṃ kṛtvā ātma-praty-akṣam ānayet bindu brahmamayaṃ dṛṣṭvā manas tatra niyojayet // khamadhye kuru cātmānam ātmamadhye ca khaṃ kuru ātmānaṃ khamayaṃ dṛṣṭvā na kiṃcid api bādhyate sadānandamayo bhūtvā samādhistho bhaven naraḥ // kha-madhye kuru cā atmānam ātma-madhye ca khaṃ kuru ātmānaṃ khamayaṃ dṛṣṭvā na kiṃ-cid api bādhyate sad-ānandamayo bhūtvā samādhi-stho bhaven naraḥ // khecarīmudrāsādhanād rasanā ūrdhvagatā yadā tadā samādhisiddhiḥ syād dhitvā sādhāraṇakriyām // khe-carī-mudrā-sādhanād rasanā ūrdhva-gatā yadā tadā samādhi-siddhiḥ syād dhitvā sādhāraṇa-kriyām // anilaṃ mandavegena bhrāmarīkumbhakaṃ caret mandaṃ mandaṃ recayed vāyuṃ bhṛṅganādaṃ tato bhavet // anilaṃ manda-vegena bhrāmarī-kumbhakaṃ caret mandaṃ mandaṃ recayed vāyuṃ bhṛṅga-nādaṃ tato bhavet // antaḥsthaṃ bhramarīnādaṃ śrutvā tatra mano nayet samādhir jāyate tatra ānandaḥ so 'ham ity ataḥ // antaḥ-sthaṃ bhramarī-nādaṃ śrutvā tatra mano nayet samādhir jāyate tatra ānandaḥ so 'ham ity ataḥ // yonimudrāṃ samāsādya svayaṃ śaktimayo bhavet suśṛṅgārarasenaiva viharet paramātmani // yoni-mudrāṃ samāsādya svayaṃ śaktimayo bhavet su-śṛṅgāra-rasena eva viharet parama-ātmani // ānandamayaḥ saṃbhūtvā aikyaṃ brahmaṇi saṃbhavet ahaṃ brahmeti cādvaitaṃ samādhis tena jāyate // ānandamayaḥ saṃbhūtvā aikyaṃ brahmaṇi saṃbhavet ahaṃ brahmeti ca a-dvaitaṃ samādhis tena jāyate // svakīyahṛdaye dhyāyed iṣṭadevasvarūpakam cintayed bhaktiyogena paramāhlādapūrvakam // svakīya-hṛdaye dhyāyed iṣṭa-deva-sva-rūpakam cintayed bhakti-yogena parama-āhlāda-pūrvakam // ānandāśrupulakena daśābhāvaḥ prajāyate samādhiḥ saṃbhavet tena saṃbhavec ca manonmanī // ānanda-aśru-pulakena daśā-a-bhāvaḥ prajāyate samādhiḥ saṃbhavet tena saṃbhavec ca mana-unmanī // manomūrcchāṃ samāsādya mana ātmani yojayet parātmanaḥ samāyogāt samādhiṃ samavāpnuyāt // mano-mūrcchāṃ samāsādya mana ātmani yojayet para-ātmanaḥ samāyogāt samādhiṃ samavāpnuyāt // iti te kathitaṃ caṇḍa samādhir muktilakṣaṇam rājayogaḥ samādhiḥ syād ekātmany eva sādhanam unmanī sahajāvasthā sarve caikātmavācakāḥ // iti te kathitaṃ caṇḍa samādhir mukti-lakṣaṇam rāja-yogaḥ samādhiḥ syād eka-ātmany eva sādhanam unmanī saha-ja-avasthā sarve ca eka-ātma-vācakāḥ // jale viṣṇuḥ sthale viṣṇur viṣṇuḥ parvatamastake jvālāmālākule viṣṇuḥ sarvaṃ viṣṇumayaṃ jagat // jale viṣṇuḥ sthale viṣṇur viṣṇuḥ parvata-mastake jvālā-māla-ākule viṣṇuḥ sarvaṃ viṣṇumayaṃ jagat // bhūcarāḥ khecarāś cāmī yāvanto jīvajantavaḥ vṛkṣagulmalatāvallī tṛṇādyā vāri parvatāḥ sarvaṃ brahma vijānīyāt sarvaṃ paśyati cātmani // bhū-carāḥ khe-carāś ca amī yāvanto jīva-jantavaḥ vṛkṣa-gulma-latā-vallī -tṛṇa-ādyā vāri parvatāḥ sarvaṃ brahma vijānīyāt sarvaṃ paśyati cā atmani // ātmā ghatasthacaitanyam advaitaṃ śāśvataṃ param ghaṭād bhinnataraṃ jñānaṃ vītarāgaṃ vivāsanam // ātmā ghata-stha-caitanyam a-dvaitaṃ śāśvataṃ param ghaṭād bhinnataraṃ jñānaṃ vīta-rāgaṃ vi-vāsanam // evaṃvidhiḥ samādhiḥ syāt sarvasaṃkalpavarjitaḥ svadehe putradārādi bāndhaveṣu dhanādiṣu sarveṣu nirmamo bhūtvā samādhiṃ samavāpnuyāt // evaṃ-vidhiḥ samādhiḥ syāt sarva-saṃkalpa-varjitaḥ sva-dehe putra-dāra-ādi -bāndhaveṣu dhana-ādiṣu sarveṣu nir-mamo bhūtvā samādhiṃ samavāpnuyāt // layāmṛtaṃ paraṃ tattvaṃ śivoktaṃ vividhāni ca teṣāṃ saṃkṣepam ādāya kathitaṃ muktilakṣaṇam // laya-a-mṛtaṃ paraṃ tattvaṃ śiva-uktaṃ vi-vidhāni ca teṣāṃ saṃkṣepam ādāya kathitaṃ mukti-lakṣaṇam // iti te kathitaś caṇḍa samādhir durlabhaḥ paraḥ yaṃ jñātvā na punarjanma jāyate bhūmimaṇḍale // iti te kathitaś caṇḍa samādhir dur-labhaḥ paraḥ yaṃ jñātvā na punar-janma jāyate
