pramāṇaphalarūpāyāḥ saṃvidaḥ prameyatattvavyavasthāpikāyāḥ svarūpādiviśodhyate 'tra saṃvistiddhau / iyamādimā siddhitraye ślokavārtikacchlokamālikārūpā / tantravārtikavaccātmeśvarasiddhī / atra copakramamadhyāvasāneṣu bhūyān granthabhāgo luptaḥ / upalabhyamānasaṃvitsiddhibhāge ca bahulamadvaitimatanirāso dṛśyate / advaitino hisadeva somyedamagra āsīdekamevādvitīyamiti kāraṇībhūtasya sacchabditasya parabrahmaṇo 'dvitīyatvaśravaṇātsatyaṃ jñānamanantaṃ brahmeti jñānamātratvaśravaṇācca sajātīyavijātīyasvagatabhedasāmānyaśūnyaṃ brahmaiva cinmātraṃ sat paramārthaḥ, anyatsarvaṃ tatraivāvidyayā parikalpitaṃ mithyābhūtamityāmananti / tatrādvitīyaśrutestadabhimatārthapratipādakatvāsambhavaṃ varṇayitumādau tanmatamanuvadatiekameveti / yattadornityasaṃbandhātpūrvārdhe yadi tyanuṣajyate /
tamimaṃ dūṣayitumadvitīyapade vṛttiṃ vikalpayati siddhāntīatreti /
advitīyapadasya tatpuruṣavṛttatve na dvitīyasya bādha ityāhapūrvasmin ityādinā ślokacatuṣṭayena / tatpuruṣa iti prathamakalpe tāvaduttarapadārthaḥ prādhānyena vivakṣyate, uttarapadārthapradhānatvāttatpuruṣasyetyarthaḥ / tatreti / na dvitīyamadvitīyam / nañtatpuruṣe cāropitatvasya pūrvapadārthatvaṃ tasya cottarapadārthaviśeṣaṇatvamiṣyate śābdikaiḥ / āropaśca sadṛśādau / tatphalitakathanaṃ tadanyādyarthe nañ iti / nañivayuktamanyasadṛśādhikaraṇe tathā hyarthagatiriti ca śābdikānāṃ paribhāṣā / tathā cādvitīyapadenāropitadvitīyatvavadbrahmeti bodhe tatra dvitīyānyatvasya dvitīyasadṛśatvasya dvitīyaviruddhatvasya vā pratītiḥ phalati / arthatraye 'pi brahmabhinnasya dvitīyapadārthasya na bādhaḥ / dvitīyapratiyogikasya bhedasya sādṛśyasya vā pratibodhane pratiyogitayā dvitīyasiddherniṣpratyūhatvāditi bhāvaḥ // 3 //4 //
nanvevamapi dvitīyaviruddhatve brahmaṇo bodhite kathaṃ na dvitīyasya bādha ityatrāhaviruddhatvaiti /
tadāhaataiti / dvitīyena - dvitvasaṅkhyāpūrakeṇa, tathā spṛṣṭvā - virodhasaṃbandhena sambadhya, svasthāḥ - svasvapramāṇādhīnasiddhikāḥ santaḥ, advitīyoktyābādhitāḥ prathamatṛtīyādyartharāśayo vartanta evetyarthaḥ / spṛṣṭā iti pāṭhaḥ saṃbhāvyate // 6 //
atra śaṅkate pūrvapakṣīnanu nañiti / ayamāśayaḥ-dvitīyapadaṃ na mukhyārthakam / kintu bhedaprapañcamātralakṣakam /
pariharatinaivamiti / hirhetau / yato 'smādadvitīyapadādbrahmapadasamānādhikaraṇāt dvitīyato bhinnatvādireva bodhyate brahmaṇaḥ /
anupapannaśca brahmabhinnasya sarvasya niṣedhaḥ / tathā sati brahmalakṣaṇavākyānāmasaṅgatiprasaṅgādityāhadvitīyamiti /
avyayībhāvasya satpadenānanvayamapyāhaadvitīyaiti / advitīye-advitīyapade / svaniṣṭhatvātsvapradhānatvāt / itarapadārthāviśeṣaṇatvāditi yāvat /
nanu dvitīyābhāvo brahmasvarūpameva / tadbrahmapadasāmānādhikaraṇyaṃ ghaṭata iti cettatrāhadvitīyeti / dvitīyābhāvo 'bhedena brahmaṇo na viśeṣaṇaṃ bhavitumarhati / abhāvasya tucchatvādbrahmaṇaḥ satyatvāt satyatucchayoraikyāyogāditi pūrvārdhasyārthaḥ / brahmaviśeṣaṇatve 'pi vadāmaḥ dvitīyaṃ pratīyogi prathamam / tadabhāvatvaṃ dvitīyam / tṛtīyaṃ ca viśeṣyaṃ brahma /
atha bahuvrīhipakṣe dūṣaṇamāhaprasaktamiti / bahuvrīhivṛtte 'pyadvitīyapadetatpuruṣa iva prathamatṛtīyādisarvasadbhāvo 'nivāryaḥ prasakta evetyarthaḥ / tadevopapādayatyardhābhyāṃbrahmaṇa iti,brahmeti ca / nāsti dvitīyaṃ yasya tadbrahmetyatra pakṣe vigrahaḥ / brahmaniṣṭhadvitvasaṅkhyāpūrakaṃ nāstītyarthaḥ / tathā ca brahmaṇa eva dvitīyatvaṃ labhyeta / tataśca brahmāpekṣayā prathamasya tṛtīyādeśca na bādho 'dvitīyaśrutyetyarthaḥ / ādyasaṅkhyāpūrakatvaṃ prathamatvam , tritvādisaṅkhyāpūrakatvaṃ ca tṛtīyatvādīti bodhyam / brahma pratyadvitīyatvāt-brahmāpekṣayā dvitīyatvābhāvāt / tacca brahmāpekṣayā prathamatvāttṛtīyāditvādvā / svasthā ityādi pūrvapadvyākhyeyam / nanu bahuvrīhighaṭakasya dvitīyapadasya dvitvasaṅkhyāpūrakārthatvaṃ, dvitve ca yacchabdārthasya brahmaṇo niṣṭhatvasaṃbandhonānvayo nopeyate; yena prathamatṛtīyādiprasaktiḥ / kintu dvitīyapadaṃ bhinnaparam / bhede ca brahmapratiyogikatvasyānvayaḥ / yato brahmaṇo bhinnaṃ nāsti tadbrahmādvitīyamiti dvitīyabādho 'dvitīyaśrutyā labhyata evetyatrāhakiñceti / anyapadārthapradhāno hi bahuvrīhiḥ / tathā ca bahuvrīhivṛttapadopasthāpyadvitīyābhāvasyānyapadārthabrahmaviśeṣaṇatvaṃ vaktavyam / tanna ghaṭate / brahmabhinnasarvaśūnyavāde dvitīyābhāvasyāpi śūnyatayā brahmapadārthaviśeṣaṇatvāyogādityarthaḥ / vṛttyarthasya bahuvrīhyarthasya, nañarthasya dvitīyābhāvasya / kuto na padārthāntarānvayāsambhavaḥ ? tatrāhasatyeti / yasyeti ṣaṣṭhī prakṛtyarthānviter'thāntarasaṃbandhe prāmāṇike sati saṅgacchate / nirviśeṣe ca brahmaṇi prakṛtyarthe padārthāntarasaṃbandhasyāsatyatvāt ṣaṣṭhībahuvrīhiśca prakṛte na ghaṭata ityarthaḥ // 12 //13 //14 //
rāhoḥ śira ityādāvabhede 'pi ṣaṣṭhyā dṛṣṭeryadabhinno dvitīyābhāvastadadvitīyaṃ brahmeti vivakṣāṃ pratikṣepati,dvitīyeti /
parābhimatādvitīyaśrutyarthānupapattinirūpaṇaṃ nigamayatitasmāditi /
kastarhyadvitīyaśrutyarthaḥ ? tatrāhateneti / parābhimatārthasyānupapattyānyādṛśor'thaḥ susaṅgata upanyasyate 'smābhirityarthaḥ / ucyata iti pratijñānamucyamānārthasyāpūrvavadāścaryāvahatvadyotanārthamavadheyatvārthaṃ ca / tamevārthamāhadvitīyeti / prathamato brahmaṇo gaṇane kṛte tena saha gaṇanārhe dvitīyaḥ samo vādhiko vā padārthaḥ kālatraye 'pi nāstītyarthaḥ / nanu vividhavicitrānantacidacitprapañce kathaṃ kasyacidapi brahmasamasyābhāvaḥ ? tatrāhayataiti / asya paramātmano 'nantamahāvibhūtervibhūtyekadeśāṃśamātratvāccaturdaśabhuvanātmakabrahmāṇḍakoṭerapi tadantargatasyodumbaramaśakavatparicchinnasvarūpasvabhāvāderbhavabrahmāderapi na tena sāmyagandhaprasaṅga iti dvitīyavāgāspa datāṃ-dvitīyapadavācyatāṃ, brahmaṇā saha gaṇanāyogyatvam , kathaṃ tat-jagat pratipadyeta-prāpnuyādityarthaḥ /
iti / etadvyākurmahe-atiśayitavastugaṇanāprastāve brahmaṇa eva prathamaparigaṇanaṃ nyāyyam / tasyaiva mukhyātiśayavattvāt / mukhyasyaiva prathamaparigaṇanasya loke śāstre ca dṛṣṭeḥ / kavikulagaṇanāprasaṅge kālidāsasyaiva hi prāthamyena gaṇanaṃ kavilokaprasiddham / yathocyatepurākavīnāṃ gaṇanāprasaṅge kaniṣṭhikādhiṣṭhitakālidāsā iti / śāstrakṛto jaiminerācāryasyāpi saṃmataṃ mukhyasya prathamaparigaṇanam / tathā hi sūtrayāmāsamukhyaṃ vā pūrvacodanāllokavaditi / evaṃ nañtatpuruṣe brahmaṇa evāgragaṇyatā sthitā / tataḥ sarvādhitakatvasiddhiḥ / tataścādhikaniṣedhaḥ phalati / samasyaiva dvitīyagaṇanāyogyatvamityāśayamūlakaṃ capurā kavīnāmitiślokasyottarārdhaṃ paripaṭhyate adyāpi tattulyakaverabhāvādanāmikā sār'thavatī babhūvaiti / tathā ca bahuvrīhivṛttyā samaniṣedhaḥ phalati brahmaṇa iti / muktānāmapi bhogamātrasāmyamiti na brahmaṇā saha gaṇanaṃ mukhyaparigaṇanaprastāve yuktam / tanmukhyaṃ vastu vastuto brahmaikameveti advitīyatvaṃ tasya pratitiṣṭhatīti ca bodhyam / evamadvitīyaśruteḥ brahmaṇaḥ samābhyadhikarāhityapratipādanaparatvaṃ vyavasthāpitam / na tatsamaścābhyadhikaśca dṛśyate iti śrutyantarānusārātna tvatsamo 'styabhyadhikaḥ kuto 'nyo lokatraye 'pyapratimaprabhāva ityupabṛṃhaṇānusārāccaidamarthyameva tasya nyāyyamiti hārdam / athādvitīyapadasya samāntaraniṣedhaparatve laukikaprayogaṃ ca nidarśayatiyatheti / colanṛpasyāsthānapaṇḍitaṃ vijityavādāhaverājāsanaṃ rājyārdhaṃ ca tatsamarpitamadhigatavanta ime paramācāryāḥ pūrvāśrame / tatprasaṅgasmārakaścāyaṃ colanṛpaprastāvo 'tra / yathā rājño 'dvitīyatvavarṇanaṃ rājavibhūtyāderniṣedhakaṃ na, kintu tatsamanṛpāntaraniṣedhakameva, evaṃ brahmaṇo 'dvitīyatvaśrutirna tadvibhūterniṣedhiketyāhatatheti / atra yā ityapatitam / yāḥ surāsuranarabrahmagarbhabrahmāṇḍakoṭayaḥ, tā veṣṇavamahāvibhūtyarṇavaviśīryamāṇa jalakaṇikāyamānāḥ tadadvitīyatvaśrutyā na bādhyanta iti yāvat / aupaniṣadaṃ paraṃ tattvaṃ paraṃ brahma śrīmannārāyaṇa eveti ca viṣṇoriti nirdeśena jñāpitam // 17 //18 //19 //20 //21 //22 //
nanvatulyatve 'pi sahagaṇaneṣyatāmityatrāhaka iti / tatsvarūpāntargatasya tena saha gaṇanāyoga ityatredaṃ nidarśanam , savitṛnidarśanaṃ ca / guṇasya guṇinā saha gaṇanāyoga ityatrayathā pradhāneti / pṛthaksatī-saṅkhyeyādbhinnatvena sthitā / yadvā apṛthaksatīticchedaḥ / apṛthaksiddhaviśeṣaṇabhūtetyarthaḥ / saṅkhyeyānyapadārthavaditi tu vaidharmyadṛṣṭāntaḥ / saṅkhyeyadravyagaṇanāyāṃ saṅkhyeyo 'nyaḥ padārtho yathā gaṇyate na tathā tadguṇabhūtā saṅkhyā tena saha gaṇyata ityarthaḥ / yadvā saṅkhyeyatvenāprastutavastvantaravadityarthaḥ / sādharmyadṛṣṭāntatvamidānīṃ ghaṭate // 23 //24 //25 //
nanu sarvaṃ tadā śobhanam ; yadi brahmavibhūtitvādau pramāṇaṃ syādityatrāhatatheti / pādo 'syeti /
brahmasvarūpaikadeśatvameva jagataḥ kuto netyatrāhatatheti / etāvāniti / mahimā ityanena jagato vibhūtitvaṃ brahmaṇo 'tiśayāvahatvādguṇatvaṃ ca jñāyate / tato jyāyāṃśca pūruṣa iti brahmaṇo jagadapekṣayātivailakṣaṇyaṃ ca / ato na brahmasvarūpaikadeśatā mṛdaṃśateva tatpariṇāmaghaṭāderjagato yuktā / ato 'pṛthaksiddhaviśeṣaṇatayā viśiṣṭaikavastvekadeśatvarūpameva brahmāṃśatvaṃ jagato 'bhimatamiti bhāvaḥ / sarvasya brahmasvarūpāntargatatve śrutimudāharatiyatreti / yatra viśiṣṭe brahmaṇi samanubhūyamāne 'nyatsvatantraṃ vastu na paśyati, sarvasya tadantarbhāvāt , sa bhūmetyarthaḥ / sarvaprakārakaḥ sarvātmā paraṃ brahma paramapuruṣo nārāyaṇa eva bhūmā, anyaḥ sarvo 'pyalpaka iti proktaṃ bhavati / svaniṣṭhaprañcadarśananindayā ca brahmaniṣṭhatvameva tasya gamyata ityāśayena śrutyantaramupādatte udaramiti / yadā hyevaiṣa etasminnu daramantaraṃ kurute, atha tasya bhayaṃ bhavatīti taittirīyopaniṣadi / etasmin prapañce daramalpamapi antaramantarālaṃ brahmasaṃbandhavicchedaṃ yadā paśyati tadaivāsyaivaṃ jānataḥ saṃsārabhayamupasthitamagre bhavatītyarthaḥ / paraprakriyācchāyayaivamatrārtho vivakṣito bhedamithyātvaṃ na sidhyatyetadvākyata iti bodhanāya / paramātmani niṣṭhāśabditasya dhruvānusmaraṇasya pūrvavākyaprastutasyālpakālavicchede 'pi saṃsārabhayaprasaṅga eveti tu siddhāntisammator'thaḥ / viṣṇumahāvibhūtyekadeśatve jagataḥ smṛtivākyaṃmerorityādi / ityādaya ityasyāgre smṛtayaśceti yojyam / taditthambhāvatāparāḥ- brahmāpṛthaksiddhaprakāratvapratipādanatatparāḥ // 27 //28 //
nanu virukteṣu vacaneṣu brahmavibhūtitvādau jagataḥ pratipādite 'pi vacanāntareṣu kāraṇamātrasya satyatvam anyasya sarvasyāsatyatvaṃ ca pratīyate iti tadanurodheneṣāṃ vyāvahārikaviṣayatvameva mantavyamiti cettatrāhavāceti / vacanāntareṣvapi mithyātvaṃ nocyate bhedaprapañcasya, kintu brahmātmakatvena sattaiveti bhāvaḥ / śrautakatipayapadaghaṭitaṃ śrautārthānuvādarūpaṃ vācārambhaṇamātramityādi / tattatpadasmāritāni śrutivākyāni vivakṣitāni / vācā'sambhaṇaṃ vikāro nāmadheyaṃ mṛttiketyeva satyamiti cchāndogye ṣaṣṭhaprapāṭhake / vācā iti tṛtīyā prayojanasya hetutvavivakṣayā / ārambhaṇam-ālambhavam-spṛṣṭam / ālambhaḥ sparśahiṃsayoḥ / gṛhītamiti yāvat / ārambhate ityārambhaṇaṃ-sṛṣṭamiti vā / napuṃsakaikaśeṣaikavadbhāvau / kintat ? vikāro nāmadheyaṃ ca / kena spṛṣṭamityākāṅkṣāyāṃntvetha yathā somyaikena mṛtpiṇḍeneti pūrvaprakṛto mṛtpiṇḍo yogyatvātkartṛtayānveti / ghaṭatvādyavasthārūpo vikāraḥ tattadavasthāyogaprayuktaṃ ghaṭādināma ca mṛtpiṇḍenaiva gṛhītaṃ vākpūrvakavyavahārāyeti phalitam / evaṃ kāraṇadravyasyaiva nānāvasthābhāktvena nānākāryātmakatvātkāryāṇāṃ kāraṇānanyatvamityāhamṛttiketyeva satyamiti / atra sarvaṃ mṛṇmayaṃ viśeṣyam / itiśabdaḥ prakāravācī / sarvaṃ mṛṇmayaṃ mṛttikātvaprakāreṇaiva prāmāṇikam / na tu mṛdanātmakatvenetyarthaḥ / anena kāṇādābhimata upādānopādeyayoratyantabhedo nirastaḥ / ekavijñānena sarvavijñānapratijñopapādanārthaṃ pravṛttatvādasya vākyasyopādānopādeyayorananyatva eva tātparyamuktadiśā / na tu kāryamātrasya mithyātve / tathā sati sarvasya jñātavyasyābhāvādeva sarvaṃ jñātaṃ syādityasaṅgatamāpadyeta / samastapadatve parābhimate vāgārambhaṇamiti bhavet / vācārambhaṇaśabdasya mithyārthakatvaṃ cāprasiddhameva parābhimatamiti bodhyam / tatsatyamityasyārthato 'nuvādaḥkūṭasthamityādiḥ / upādānatve 'pi brahmaṇo nirvikāratvaṃ kūṭasthaśabdena vivakṣitam / satsatyam-satataikarūpam / nanu nirvikāratve kathamupādānatvam ? sarvacidaciccharīrakatvāt sūkṣmacidacidviśiṣṭatvenopādānatvaṃ brahmaṇa upapannameva / so 'yaṃ śarīrātmabhāvo jagadbrahmaṇoḥsadāyatanāḥ aitadātmyamidaṃ sarvamiti nirdiṣṭaḥ / nacaivaṃ svarūpapariṇāmābhāve mṛṇmayadṛṣṭāntāsaṅgatiḥ, kāryakāraṇayorananyatvamātre dṛṣṭāntasaṅgateḥ / nanu cetanācetanaprapañcasya brahmānanyatvaṃ vā katham ? brahmātmakatvena brahmarūpatvenānanyatvopapatteḥ / tadidameva prāmāṇikamiti cocyate etadātmyamidaṃ sarvaṃ tatsatyamityekavākyatayānvayāt /
samānaprakaraṇeṣūpādānopādeyayoraikyasyaiva pratipādanācca na kāryasya mithyātvaṃ vācārambhaṇaśruterarthaḥ / kintu kāraṇātmakataiveti pratibodhayannāhaananyaditi /
kāryāṇāṃ kāraṇātmakatve upattiruktā / arthavādarūpamapi tātparyaliṅgamastītyāhanāśakaditi /
nanuuta tamādeśamaprākṣyoyenāśrataṃ śrutaṃ bhavatīti pratijñātamekavijñānena sarvavijñānaṃ brahmaṇa ekasyaiva pāramārthye ghaṭate / natu tadbhinnānāṃ bahūnāṃ pāramārthye / tatprapañcasyāpāramārthyamakāmenāpi svīkartavyamiti cettatrāhaeketi / brahmaṇo nikhilajagadantarātmatvena nikhilajagatpradhānatayā nikhilasya ca taccharīratvena tatprakārataikasvarūpatayā tasmin jñāte tadanantargataṃ kimapi jñātavyaṃ mukhyaṃ nāvaśiṣyata iti ekavijñānena sarvavijñāvākyasyārtha iti bhāvaḥ / ityādīti / niruktārthaparaiḥ śrutivacanaistanmūlopabṛṃhaṇasmṛtivacanaiśca brahmātmakatvena labdhasvarūpaḥ prapañca ityeva bodhyate / na tu brahmaṇo vibhūtibhūtaḥ sa niṣidhyata ityarthaḥ / brahmātmanā'tmalābha iti / ātmano lābho yasyeti bahuvrīhiḥ / brahmābhinnāntarātmanā prayojyasvarūpalābhavānityarthaḥ / brahmatātmalābho 'yamiti samastapāṭhaḥ saṃbhāvya / tatra ca ātmano lābhaḥ ātmalābhaḥ-svarūpasattā brahmatmatayā-brahmatmakatvena ātmalābho yasyeti bahuvrīhiḥ / brahmāvibhūtibhūtasya prapañcasya na niṣedhaḥ kṛtaḥ śāstreṣviti nirūpitametāvatā // 32 //33 //
atha prapañcaniṣedhasyānupapannatvādapi niṣedhaparatayevāpātataḥ pratipannātāṃ śrutivākyānāmapyānyaparyamevaiṣṭavyamityāśayavānāhatanniṣedha iti / prapañcaniṣedhe vivakṣite śāstravacanataḥ tattadarthaviśeṣapratipādanopādānādyarthāḥ sarve vyavahārā laukikā vaidikāśca lupyeran-aprāmāṇikā visaṃvādinaśca bhaveyuḥ, sarvasya mithyātvādityarthaḥ / nanu bhedavyavahārāṇāmaprāmāṇikatvamiṣṭameveti cettatrāhatatheti /
nanu paramārthadṛṣṭyā brahmabhinnasya sarvasya mithyātve 'pi tataḥ prāk avidyātaḥ pramāṇaprameyavyavahārādi nirūhyata iti cettatrāhavyāvahāriketi /
( iti prapañcasya brahmavibhūtitvasthāpanapūrvakamadvitīyaśrutyarthavarṇanam ) advitīyaśruteḥ prapañcābādhakatvanirūpaṇaṃ nigamayatiataśceti / brahmaṇo vibhūtitvācca jagadbrahmādvaitadhiyā na bādhyate / savibhūtikasyaiva tasyādvitīyatvadhiya upaniṣatsiddhatvāt /
prapañcasyādvitīyaśrutyā bādha iti parapakṣo nirastaḥ / atha tasya sadasadanirvacanīyatvamapi parābhimataṃ nirasituṃ vicāramupakramate nanu sattve iti / sattve prapañcasya nāstīti bādhaviṣayatvaṃ kathaṃ ghaṭatetyākṣepo mādhyamikādīnām / atra pratīpakṣaḥ sāṅkhyādīnāmasattveveti /
nanu astināstibuddhibalātsadasattvaṃ vācyamiti jaināḥ / tatrāhasadasattvamiti / viruddhadvayamasambhavadekasminnopagamārhamiti yāvat / vicāraprasaktimāhasadasaditi / viruddhākāradvayaprasaṅge parasparavirodhādubhayasyānyatarasyākārasya vānirṇayāddhetorvicāraḥ prāptāvasara iti yāvat / atravicāraḥ prakramyataiti śeṣapūraṇena vākyārtho vaktavyaḥ / tatrādāvanaikāntyavādināṃ jainānāṃ matamāhasadasatvamiti / pratīyamānatvādevaikasmin sadasattvayorna virodha ityabhimānaḥ / yadvā jainamatānuvādaḥsadasatpratyayaprāptetyārabhyajaināstu pratijānata ityantena / sadasattvayoḥ pratīyayormadhye ekasyaiva nirṇaye hetvabhāvādyathāpratīti prapañcasyobhayamevaiṣṭavyamiti janā āsthitā ityarthaḥ / niścayābhāvahetuta ityanena niścayahetvabhāvo vivakṣitaḥ / pāṭhāntaraṃ vā saṃbhāvyate // 38 //39 //
etadvirodhisattvekāntavādikāpilamatamāhasattvaprāptimiti /
matadvayapratyanīkaṃ māyāvādināṃ matamāhasadasaditi /
naiyāyikādīnāṃ pakṣamāhasadasattve iti /
tadevamiti / vādisaṃmardāt-vādivivādāt / vipratipatteriti yāvat /
tatra nirupādhikasattvāsattvasamuccayapakṣanirasanena siddhāntaḥ samanuvarṇyate ghaṭasvarūpaityādinā ślokatrayeṇa / ayamarthaḥ - ghaṭasvarūpe nāstitvaṃ pratīyamānameva, nāstītipratītireveti yāvat , yadyastitvamapi tasya pratyapādayiṣyat , yadvā pratītiḥ sattvamasattvaṃ ca nirūpādhi yadi pratyapādayiṣyat , tarhi sadasattvasamuccayo 'bhyupāgaṃsyata / nacaivam / kintu kiñciddeśakālāvasthādiviśeṣeṇa sattvam , anyadeśādyaupādhikamasattvameva ca pratipādayanti pratītayaḥ / ato deśādibhedataḥ sadasattve vyavasthite ghaṭādau / tat vādasyānyavādasya bādhādidoṣadūṣitatvānna sambhava ityarthaḥ / nirastasyādvādasyeti pāṭhaḥ sambhāvyate / tadāyamarthaḥ - nirastasya vyāghātabādhitasya syādvādasya syādasti, syānnāstīti jainānāmanaikāntyavādasya na sambhava iti / atra ca naiyāyikādimataṃ, tataḥ siddhānte viśeṣaśca śatadūṣaṇyāṃ vyavriyata ṣaṣṭitame vāde śrīmannigamāntācāryacaraṇaiḥ / yathā upādhibhedādubhayavyavastheti pakṣamadūraviprakarṣātparigṛhṇīmahe / upādhibhedastu svātmanā sattvam , anyātmanāsattvam / svakāle sattvam , anyakāle punarasattvam / tathā svadeśe sattvam , anyadeśe punarasattvamiti / iha tādātmyaṃ saṃsargo vā sattvamiti vyapadiśyate / tadviruddhaveṣeṇa vastunyevāsadvyapadeśaḥ / ṣaṣṭhe tu pakṣe viruddhadharmayoga eva vastunyasadvyavahārahetutayā vyapadiśyate / ghaṭo hi ghaṭātmanā san paṭātmanā punarasanniti nirdiśyate / sanneva svadeśakālayoḥ svavirodhideśakālayorasanniti / upalambhānukūlatvāllāghavāccedamevādriyante vṛddhāḥiti / atrāyaṃ vivekaḥ - sattā tādātmyataditarasaṃbandhānyataralakṣaṇā / ayaṃ ghaṭo 'stītyatra ghaṭatādātmyalakṣaṇā sattā pratīyate / atredānīṃ ghaṭo 'stītyatra caitaddeśakālasaṃyogalakṣaṇā / tathā ayaṃ paṭo nāstītyatra paṭatādātmyābhāvalakṣaṇā paṭātmanāsattā pratīyate / tatra tadā ghaṭo nāstītyatra ca taddeśakālasaṃyogābhāvalakṣaṇāsattā pratīyate / evaṃ bhāvābhāvarūpayoḥ sadasattvayordeśādibhedenopapattirghaṭādāviti ekaḥ pakṣaḥ / abhāvo 'pi bhāvāntararūpa eveti pakṣāntaraṇ / yathā ghaṭatvameva hi ayaṃ ghaṭo 'stītyatra pratītaṃ ghaṭasya sattvam / tadevāyaṃ paṭo nāstītyatrāpi pratīyate paṭādbhedarūpam / evaṃ svadeśakālasaṃbandhalakṣaṇā sattaivānyadeśakālanāstitāpratītāvapi viṣayo bhavati deśāntarādisaṃbandhābhāvatveneti / tathā ca dharmaviśeṣa eva bhāvānāmastināstipratītigocara iti siddham / idameva siddhāntināmapi saṃmatamiti // 44 //45 //46 //
avirodhena sadasattvasamarthanasamahamānaḥ sattvaikāntyavādī kāpilo 'tra pratyavatiṣṭhate nanu deśādīti / pūrvamasato ghaṭādeḥ svadeśakālasaṃbandhena sattotpattyā durupapādā / saṃbandhasya saṃyogasya saṃbandhidvayajanyasyāsati saṃbandhinyatarasminnapi samutpatterayogāt / tathā ca svadeśakālasaṃbandhātsattvam / sattve ca svadeśakālasaṃbandha ityanyonyasaṃśrayaḥ / ataḥ sattvameva sadā mantavyaṃ bhāvānāmitisataḥ sattvaṃ sadā bhavedityantasyārthaḥ / nanu sadā sattve kārakacakravyāpārānarthakyaṃ prasajyeta / tatpūrvamasata eva kārakavyāpāreṇotpattirvācyetyatrāhaasata iti / asataḥ prayatnaśatenāpi niṣpattyā sattvaṃ durupapādaṃ sikatābhyastailasyeva / kiñcāsata utpattau daṇḍacakrādito 'sattvāviśeṣādghaṭasyeva paṭasyāpyutpādaprasaṅgaḥ / kenacidedvyāpāreṇa śaśe 'pi śṛṅgasya kadācidudayaprasaṅgaśca / etadanusandhānenoktamiti / nanūpādānaviśeṣe kāryaviśeṣotpādanasāmarthyapratiniyamānnātiprasaṅga iti cenmaivam , kāryagarbhatvamantarā sāmarthyaniyamasyāpi durnirūpatvāt / tatsadeva kāryaṃ kārakavyāpāreṇābhivyajyata ityeṣṭavyamityāhaādyantavāniti / āvirbhāvatirobhāvalakṣaṇāveva cādyantau utpādavināśāviti bhāvaḥ / atra saṃvādaḥādāviti / ata iti / sattvena niñcitaḥ sadā sannevetīṣyatāmityarthaḥ // 47 //48 //49 //
( iti prapañcasya sattvapakṣasamarthanam ) asataiti / janyayogāt - utpattyayogāt / prāgatyantāsatoḥ - pūrvamasatotyantāsa taśca / iti kāpilamatamupapāditam / atropapāditasya kāpilamatasya pratikṣepaparaḥ, matāntaropapādanapratikṣepaparaśca granthabhāgo vilupta ityūhyate / buddhisaukaryāya sāṅkhyapakṣapratikṣepaprakāro diḍmātraṃ pradarśyate 'tra / dvavyaṃ tāvat nityameva / avasthābhedāstu ghaṭatvakapālatvādaya āgantukāḥ / avasthāviśeṣasampattyartha eva ca kārakavyāpāraḥ / dravyasya sattvādeva kārakavyāpāragocaratvamavasthāntarabhāktvaṃ ca ghaṭate / anvayavyatirekābhyāṃ ca kārakacakrasya tasya tasya tatra tatra kārye sāmarthyaniyamaḥ sidhyatīti nātiprasaṅgaḥ / tattadavasthāviśiṣṭaveṣeṇa jātatvanaṣṭatvādipratītiścopapadyate / kārakacakrasyābhivyañjakatvamiti pakṣe tu kārakajñāpakavibhāgāyogaḥ / abhivyakterjñānādbhede prakārāntareṇotpattirevāpatitā / kiñca abhivyakternityatve kārakavyāpāravaiyarthyameva / tasyā api abhivyaktyantarasvīkāre 'navasthā / tasyā utpādyatve tvasatkāryavādaprasaṅgaḥ / tadabhivyakterutpattyupagamato yathopalambhaṃ tasyotpattirupagantumucitā / sadeva dravyamavasthāntarabhāksatkāryaṃ bhavatītyeva satkāryavādaḥ saṃrakṣaṇīyaḥ / ayameva ca trayyantasiddho 'pīti /
atha nirviśeṣacinmātrabrahmātmaikyajñānamevāvidyānivartakam / nirviśeṣacinmātrabrahmātmaikyaṃ catattvamasivākyapratipannamiti vādamadvaitināṃ pratikṣeptuṃ tattvamasivākyārthavicāramupakramate śvetaketumiti / upādāyasambodhya / chāndogya ityādiḥ / jīvabrahmaikye tattvamasivākyameva mukhyaṃ pramāṇamabhimanyate taiḥ / asyāpi samānādhikaraṇavākyasya mukhyārthatvaṃ tanmate na saṃbhavatītyahatasyetyādinā // 51 //

nanvajñatvādi sarvajñatvādi copalakṣaṇatayaivocyate, na tu viśeṣaṇatayā / ubhayopalakṣitaṃ vastvekamevetyarthaḥ / ato na virodha ityatrāhaajñatveti /
nanu virodhānmukhyārthastyajyate / cinmātre tu padadvayalakṣaṇopeyate, yathā so 'yaṃ raurityatra tattedantopalakṣite vastumātre lakṣaṇā padadvayasya tatheti śaṅkate vācyeti / vācyaikadeśasya pravṛttinimittabhedasya tyāgena viśeṣyamātre cinmātre padadvayasya vṛttiḥ jahadajahallakṣaṇayeti / etatpratikṣipatiityapyapeśalamiti /
dṛṣṭānte padadvayasyāpi na lakṣaṇetyāhadeśakāleti / tattā nāma taddeśakālayogitā / idantaitaddeśakālayogitā / tattāviśiṣṭe idantānvayasya bādhe 'pi ekasmin dharmiṇyubhayānvaye na virodhaḥ / deśadvayasaṃbandhaḥ paricchinnasya vastunaḥ kālabhedātparihriyate /
na tvevaṃ bhavatā vaktuṃ śakyata ityāhasvaprakāśasyeti /
brahmaṇyavidyānvayāyogādevāvidyākṛtabhedadarśananirasanārthatvaṃ śāstrasya nirviśeṣacinmātra brahmātmaikyaviṣayatvaṃ ca parābhimataṃ na saṃbhavītyāhanirdhūteti / dvandvaśabdo bhedavācyatra / ajñānenaiva bhedabhramo vaktavyaḥ / na ca nirviśeṣe svaprakāśe ca tatprasaktiḥ /
cinmātre brahmaṇyavidyānvayānupapattiparyālocanayā kaiścidadvaitibhiḥ kalpitaṃ māyāvidyopādhibhedaṃ tata eveśeśitavyabhedaṃ cāparamārthamupapādyamānaṃ nirasyatieteneti / etena-nirdhūtatrividhabhede cinmātre māyāvidyopādhibhedāsiddhyaiva / māyopādhau-māyopahitacinmātre pare-īśvare / vināśeneti / tattvamasivākyajanyaikyasākṣātkāreṇa māyāvidyopādhināśe tatkalpita īśajīvabhāvo 'pi nivṛtto nāvatiṣṭhata ityarthaḥ / prāgeva dūṣitamiti / etaddūṣaṇabhāgo viluptaḥ / aparamārthatvenābhimatayostayoḥ kalpakābhāvādasiddhireva / svataḥkalpanāyāmātmāśrayaḥ / brahmaṇa eva tatkalpakatve brahmasvarūpasya nityatvāttayornityatvaprasaktiḥ / aikyajñānena nivṛttyupagame 'pi tasya kṣaṇikatvādeva punarapi brahmasvarūpabalāttayoḥ kalpanāprasaṅgaḥ / kiñca māyāyā bhrāntijanakatve duḥkhādijanakatve cāvidyāto vibhāgāsiddhiḥ / tasyā yathārthabuddhijanakatve krīḍārasamātraparikaratve cāpuruṣārthatvāyogāttannirasanānupapattiḥ / anādibhāvarūpāyāstasyā jñānamātrato nirasanāyogaścetyādi dūṣaṇamanusandheyam / avidyāyā eva bahusaṃmatatvānmāyāvidyopādhibhedavādino 'mī kṣudrā brahmavido 'dvaitiṣviti ca bodhyam // 59 //60 //
upādhibhedopagamāsambhava ityuktam / tadupagamena dūṣaṇāntaraṃ cocyate citsvarūpe iti / kiṃ cinmātremāyāvidyādyupādhayaḥ saṃbandhante, uta viśiṣṭe / niraṃśe cinmātre māyāvidyāsambandhe tatprayuktasvabhāvabhedā ekasminneva prasajyante iti jīveśvarasvabhāvasāṅkaryaprasaṅgaḥ / viśiṣṭe cet kiṃ tadviśeṣaṇam ? māyāvidyā ceti cedātmāśrayaḥ, jīvatveśvaratve iti cedanyonyāśrayaḥ, anyattu viśeṣaṇaṃ durvacameva / kiñca māyayāvidyayā vā saṃvitsvarūpasya cchedāsambhavādekameva tattadupahitaṃ bhavedgaganamiva maṭhāntavartighaṭena maṭhena copahitam / tathā ca hastapādādyavacchinnasukhaduḥkhabhoga ekasyaiva yathā jīvasya, tathā tattadupādhiprayuktaiśvaryaduḥkhādibhoga ekasyaiva brahmaṇaḥ prasajyata iti jīvaparasvabhāvāvyavasthitirevetyarthaḥ // 61 //62 //
nanvaupādhikapradeśabhedopagamādbrahmaṇi na jīveśasvabhāvasāṅkaryamiti cettatrāhataṭastheti / māyayāvidyayā vopahitaṃ taṭasthamityucyate brahma / tanniṣṭhasya sārvajñyāderajñatvādeśca daṇḍena kuṇḍalena vopahite kādācitkadaṇḍādiviśeṣaṇavattayā taṭasthaśabdite devadatte vartamānasya sukhasya duḥkhasya ca devadattātmanīva brahmaṇi sambandho durvāra eveti bhāvaḥ / tatrānanditvaprasaṅgasya sahyatvātkathañcihuḥkhitvasyāsahyasya prasaṅge nidarśanamāhanahīti /
( iti tattvamasivākyasya parābhimatabrahmātmaikyaparatve 'nupapattyupapādanam ) etena māyāvidyopādhirūpaviśeṣaṇabhedaparityāgena viśeṣyībhūtacinmātraikyaṃ tattvamasivākyārtha ityapi nirastamityāhaacidaṃśeti /
atha paramate sāmānādhikaraṇyārthasya tādātmyasyāpyanupapattimupapādayatiabrahmeti / brahmabhinnasyānātmatve tattvaṃpadadvayalakṣyārtha eka pratyaktatvaṃ cinmātramava śiṣyate / tatra ca samānādhikaraṇavākyārthasya tādātmyasyanupapattirityarthaḥ / atrottarārdhaṃ viluptamityūhyate / taccaekaśeṣe tu tādātmyaṃ cinmātre naiva sambhavet iti syāt / ekaśeṣe tādātmyānupapattimeva vivṛṇotitattvamiti / samānādhikaraṇamiti śeṣaḥ / tasya mukhyavṛttiryatra tat tanmukhyavṛtti / vastudvayāśrayamiti / bhedasamānādhikaraṇābhedasya tādātmyasyātyantāyābhede 'sambhava iti bhāvaḥ / atra yādavaprakāśaprakriyayā bhāṭṭaprakriyayā vā nirūpyate tādātmyamiti bodhyam / siddhānte tuvastudvayāśrayamityasya pravṛttinimittadharmabhedavadekavastvāśritamityarthaḥ /
nanu bhedābhedastādātmyamiti na saṃbhavati / bhedābhedayorabhede 'tyantabhede 'pi bhedābhedasyāsiddheḥ / bhedābhede vā tatrāpi tathetyanavastheti cettatrāhabhedābhedeti / ayaṃ vikalpanaprakāro nopalabhyamānagranthabhāge 'sti / tadbhāgo viluptaḥ syādvā / bhinnayostādātmyamutābhinnayoḥ / ādye ghaṭaḥ paṭa iti prasajyate / antye ghaṭo ghaṭa itīti vā bhedābhedavikalpo bodhyaḥ / abhedābhedinaḥ-bhedābhedibhinnasya, atyantabhinnasyātyantābhinnasya vā bandhe - tādātmyasambandhe asati-aprāmāṇike sati bhavatkṛto 'yaṃ vikalpo 'pārtha ityarthaḥ / na hi ghaṭo ghaṭa iti vā ghaṭaḥ paṭa iti vā sāmānādhikaraṇyaṃ dṛṣṭam / kintu nīlo ghaṭa ityeva /
bhedābhedaṃ vikalpayataḥ svavyāghāto 'pītyāhaabheda iti ślokadvayena / bhedamardītiiti kvacitpāṭhaḥ / tatra itiśabdasya evamityanenānvayaḥ ityevamiti / bhedamardī-atyantabhedanirāsakaḥ / etayoḥ-bhedābhedayoḥ svarūpaṃ svarūpabhedamupagamyaiva bhedo 'bhedo veti vikalpakoṭyorbādhanaṃ dūṣaṇaṃ kriyate / tenasvābhyugamena, vāgbādhā-bhavaduktadūṣaṇavacanoparodhaḥ / prasajyata iti śeṣaḥ / tvaṃ ca svābhyupagamaviruddhavacanatvena nigṛhyasa ityarthaḥ // 67 //68 //

tādātmyasambandhavidveṣiprayuktānāṃ dustarkāṇāṃ pratyakṣaśāstraparāhatatvameva prapañcayatiyatheti / saṃyoge bhedābhedāditustarko yathā-bhinnayoḥ saṃyoga utābhinnayoḥ / ādye himavadvindhyayorapi saṃyogaprasaṅgaḥ / antye svenaiva svasya saḥ / saṃyogo dharmiṇo bhinno na vā / bhede tasyāpi sambandhāntaraṃ tasyāpi tathetyanavasthā / abhede saṃyoga eva na sidhyatītyādiḥ / sphuṭapratipanne saṃyoge dustarkatanmūlavikalpanādi yathā bhramalakṣaṇaṃ kaṇṭhaśoṣaṇamātram , pratyakṣaparāhataṃ ca ; evaṃ nīlotpalāditādātmye pratyakṣe jīvabrahmatādātmye ca śāstrasiddhe dustarkavikalpanādi pratyakṣaśāstradaṇḍanivāritamiti bhāvaḥ / śrutidaṇḍeneti prakṛtatattvamasivākyārthābhiprāyeṇoktam // 71 //72 //
jīvaparayosdātmye 'bhyāsarūpaṃ tātparyaliṅgamapyastītyāhanirdeṣeti /
( iti paramate sāmānādhikaraṇyārthāyogavarṇanam ) etāvatā paramate prātipadikayoriva samānavibhakterapi na mukhyārthateti vyavasthāpitam / yadyapi abhedamātrasya samānavibhaktyarthatvaṃ sambhavati / tathāpi pravṛttinimittadharmabhedaprahāṇānna sāmānādhikaraṇyamukhyārthatā paramata iti bodhyam / atha cinmātrapariśeṣe 'pi na yuktaḥ / tathā sati mokṣasyāpuruṣārthatāprasakterityāhabrahmeti / eṣa brahma praviṣṭo 'smi grīṣme śītamiva hradam itivacanānusāreṇa brahmānandasya hradatvarūpaṇam , sakalasaṃsāratāpakleśaharatvānniratiśayāhlādakaratvācca tasya / brahmānandaṃ hṛdantaḥstha iti pūrvamudritapāṭhastu na samīcīnaḥ / muktātmāparicchinnabrahmānandasāgare nimagno nityapravṛddhasukho varīvartitarāmiti śāstramaryādā / paramaphale mokṣe bhoktṛtvāvasthāpannasya svasya vilayaṃ cejjānīyānnābhilaṣyettāmityarthaḥ /
atha prapañcabhramādhiṣṭhānasya tadbhramahetośca svarūpavimarśenāpi paramate 'sāmañjasyamudbhāvayatikiñcetyādinā / vivartate ayathākāreṇa bhāsate / darśanāt - bhedaprapañcasya dṛṣṭeḥ / adhiṣṭhānamantarā'ropyapratītyayogānna ghaṭapaṭādidhiyāmāgamāpāyinīnāṃ prapañcabhramādhiṣṭhānatvaṃ sambhavatīti bhāvaḥ / jagat - bhedaprapañcaḥ / tadbhānamiti yāvat / nāpīti / paṭajñānanāśe 'pi anyeṣāṃ ghaṭādibhedānāmupalambhānna paṭajñānāderapi prapañcādhyāsādhiṣṭhānatvaṃ saṃbhavatītyarthaḥ / saṃvideva prapañcabhramādhiṣṭhānamiti pareṣāṃ matam / tatra ghaṭapaṭādisaṃvidāṃ nādhiṣṭhānatvaṃ sambhavatītyuktaṃ bhavati // 75 //76 //
atra pareṣāmāśaṅkānanu iti / akhaṇḍā saṃvidekā nityāvibhvī ca / ghaṭādīnāmevānyajñāneṣvabhāsamānānāṃ bhedaḥ / saṃvidastu sarvajñāneṣu prakāśamānatvādekatvameva / tasyāṃ bhedabuddhistvaupādhikaviṣayā na yathārthasaṃvitsvarūpabhedaviṣayā / saiva prapañcabhramādhiṣṭhānaṃ bhavati / ghaṭabuddhiḥ paṭajñānakāle na bhāsate, kintu paṭadhīreveti cet , maivam / tadā ghaṭa eva na bhāsate / jñānaṃ tu bhāsata eva / nanu ghaṭaviṣayakatvaviśiṣṭasaṃvidaḥ paṭajñāne 'bhānamiti cet , maivam / ghaṭaviṣayakatvarūpaṃ ghaṭavyāvṛttattvamapi saṃvitsvarūpameva / ataḥ paṭajñāne tasya bhānameva / ghaṭaḥ paraṃ na bhāsate / tasyātiriktatve tu paṭajñāne tadabhāne 'pi saṃvidobhānamakṣatameveti samuditāśayaḥ // 77 //78 //79 //
nanu saṃvidibhedābhāve ghaṭajñānamidaṃ, paṭajñānaṃ tat , ekamutpannamaparaṃ vinaṣṭamityādyanupapannaṃ bhavedityatrāhakiñceti / nīrūpāyāḥ-nirākārāyāḥ / nirviśeṣāyā iti yāvat / nānātvāvagrahabhramaḥ-nānātvarūpāsadākāropahitatvabhramaḥ /
nanūpādhibhedenaiva bhedo 'pi tatra vāstavo bhavet / sāṃsargikasya dharmasya tatra tatrodayadarśanādityatrāhaneti / viṣayabhedasyaivāvāstavikatvāttatprayuktaṃ saṃvinnānātvamapyavāstavikameveti bhāvaḥ / bhedasya cāvāstavikatvaṃ durnirūpatvāt / tathāhi-bhedo na tāvadvastusvarūpam / pratiyogigrahāpekṣagrahasya bhedasya tadanapekṣagrahasvarūpatvāyogāt / nāpi vastudharmo 'yam / bhedasya dharmibhedo dharmāntaram / tasyāpi svadharmibhedo dharmāntaram , evamuparyapi / evaṃ ghaṭasya paṭabhedo dharmaḥ, paṭabhedabhedo 'pi tathā, evaṃ tadbhedo 'pīti cānavasthāprasakteḥ / evaṃ svarūpato durnirūpasya pramāṇato 'pi durnirūpatvam / yathā-pratyakṣaṃ tāvanna bhedagrāhi, kṣaṇikasya tasya svarūpapratiyogigrahaṇapūrvakabhedagrahaṇaparyantāvasthānābhāvādviramya vyāpārāyogācca / yugapadeva tritayaṃ gṛhṇāti cet , samūhālambanavadupaśleṣaviśeṣāsiddhiḥ / pratyakṣeṇa bhedagrahaṇābhāvādeva tanmūlāvinābhāvagrahādhīnodayamanumānamapi na bhede pramāṇaṃ bhavediti hṛdayam / nanu tarhi bhedagrahaḥ katham ? tatrāhakevalaṃ bhramalakṣaṇa iti // 81 //

etatkaraṇajanyaṃ jñānametamevārthaṃ gṛhṇātītyevaṃ karaṇabhedenāpi vyavasthā durvacā bhavadbhirityāhanāpīti / nityatve jñānasya karaṇāsambhavāditi yāvat / arthabhedena jñānabhedo 'pi durvacaḥ saṃvidadvaitavādibhirityāhana ceti // 92 //

tatra vidyāyā vedyarūpatve veditṛsvarūpatve vā doṣamāhavedyatve iti / tayoravidyānivartakatvābhāvāttadrūpāyā vidyāyā apyavidyānivartakatvābhāvaprasaṅga ityarthaḥ / te ityasyāgre mate iti śeṣaḥ / saṃvittirūpatve doṣamāhasaṃvidevetīti /
vidyā saṃvit , tadviruddhāvidyetyatra dūṣaṇamāhakiñceyamiti / divākarakaravyāpte deśe divākare vā tadvirodhino 'ndhatamasasyeva vibhvyā saṃvidā vyāpte sarvatra saṃvidi vā nāvidyāyāḥ samāveśasambhava ityarthaḥ / vidyābhinnāvidyetyapi durvacamevādvaitavādibhiriti sūcyate advitīyayetyanena // 105 //
( ityavidyāyāḥ svarūpānirvacanīyatvānupapattivarṇanam ) kalpatraye 'pi dūṣaṇamāhaabhāva iti / saṃvidabhāvādirūpānādiravidyāsti cet , saṃvidevaikāstīti bhavadabhimatamadvaitaṃ na sidhyediti bhāvaḥ / nanu saṃvinmātraṃ paramārthasaditi paramārthaikyamevāsmākamabhimatam /
atha tasyā āśrayānupapattimāhakiñcāsāviti / na vidyate samādhānaṃ yasya tadasamādhānam - asamādheyam / avidyākalpito jīvabhāvaḥ, tasmin siddha evāvidyāsiddhiriti jīvāvidyāpakṣe paramate 'nyonyāśrayo 'samādheyaḥ prasajatītyarthaḥ / asmanmate 'kalpitatvājjīvasya tatrāvidyopagame na doṣaḥ / kintu bhavatāmeveti dyotyate te iti nirdeśena / jīvādityasyāgre 'pi vināpadaṃ yojyam / narteiti vā pāṭhaḥ sambhāvyate / bījāṅkura nyāyena sa doṣaḥ parihārya ityatrāhane ti / bījāṅkurapravāhe tvanyānyasya bījasyāṅkurasya cotpādyotpādakabhāvaḥ / naivaṃ prakṛte sambhavati / ekajīvasthāne 'nekajīvaprasaṅgājjīvānāmutpādavināśaprasaṅgāccetibhāvaḥ //107 //108 //

nanu bhedakapramāṇānāṃ sarvajñatvādivacanānāmapi vyāvahārikārthabhedagocarāṇāṃ vyāvahārikameva pramāṇyam / paramārthapramāṇatvaṃ tvadvaitavacasāmeva / paramārthastu paraṃ brahma nirviśeṣasaccinmātrameva / tatra jīveśvarādibhedo 'pyavidyayā vinānupapanna iti brahmāśritaiva sānāyatyā mantavyeti śaṅkate sarvajñatvādīti / etaddūṣayatiniyāmakamiti / tvatkalpitasaṅketabalena vinā naivaṃvidhavyavasthāyāṃ kiñcana pramāṇamasti /
brahmaṇo 'vidyāśrayatve dūṣaṇāntaraṃ cāhaāśrayeti / pratiyogitvamatra viṣayatvarūpam / kartṛkarmabhāvavirodho yugapadekatraikasyābhipretaḥ / parasparavirodhinīti / saditi sattāmātramekarasaṃ svaprakāśarūpaṃ brahma kathaṃ svaviṣayakāvidyāyatanaṃ bhavedākārabhedābhāvāditi bhāvaḥ / ākārabhedenāvirodhamāśaṅkate pratyaktveneti / sanmātrameva brahma svaprakāśatvarūpeṇāhantvarūpeṇa vā pratyaktvenāśrayo 'vidyāyāḥ, brahmatvena viṣaya iti cedayaṃ rūpabhedaḥ kathamāyātastatra ? yadyavidyayā, anyonyāśrayaprasaṅgaḥ / svābhāviko 'yamiti tu na vaktuṃ śakyate saviśeṣatvabhiyā parairiti bhāvaḥ jīvāvidyāpakṣa ivātrāpyanyonyāśra iti punarityanena dyotyate // 114 //115 //

( ityekāvidyākalpitaikajīvavādānuvādaḥ ) atraikajīvavādena paraḥ pratyavatiṣṭhate syānmatamiti / eka eva tu jīvaḥ / sa eva svāpnavatprapañcaṃ paśyati / svapnadṛśyapuruṣatulyāḥ śukādayaḥ / tanmuktivacanamapi svāpnadevadattamuktivacanatulyamapramāṇameva / tasya tattvasākṣātkārata evāvidyānivṛttirbhaviteti samuditāśayaḥ / ahamevokto jīvo mūlāvidyākalpitaḥ / madīyatūlāvidyākalpitāstvanye jīvāḥ / muktāmuktādibhedo 'pyevambhūta evetimadavidyayetyanenābhipretam / pratyūhatāmiti pāṭhe tadvacanaṃ karma, svāpnamuktyuktiyuktibalena siddhaṃ pratyanumānaṃ pratyūhatāṃ bādhatāmityarthaḥ / pratyūhyatāmiti pāṭhaḥ sambhāvyate / tatra ca tadvacanaṃ niruktayuktyā pratirudhyatāmityarthaḥ / svāpnamityuktiyuktā iti prācīnamudritapāṭhastu na śuddhaḥ // 124 //125 //126 //
pratikṣipati vādamenaṃnanvīdṛśeti / svāvidyāparikalpitatvaṃ tava prapañcasya ca sādhayannanyastulyanayena tvayā kathaṃ pratikṣepya ityarthaḥ / tadīyānumānasyāprayojakatvaṃ cettulyaṃ tattvadanumāne 'pīti bhāvaḥ / sarvajñasiddhivaditi /
iti nyāyena parasparavirodhādubhayamapi paramārthato na sidhyatīti yāvat / yadvā sarveṣāṃ jñānā jīvānāmaikyasya siddhirivānyasya sarvasyaikāvidyākalpitatvasyāpi siddhirna setsyati / sādhakatvābhimatasyābhāsatvāditi bhāvaḥ // 127 // 128 //

prakārāntareṇāpi vāde 'smin dūṣaṇamāhayatheti /
muktyarthaprayāsaṃ parityajya muktirna bhavitetyeva sādhayatetyāhayatheti / yathādhyātmavidyayā śukādīnāṃ bhūtaiva muktirabhūtetyucyate, tathā bhavatāṃ tataḥ paścādbhāvinyapi sā mithyā, na bhāvinyeva vastuta ityucyatāmityarthaḥ / sāmarthyābhāvinītiprācīnamudritapāṭhastu na samanvitaḥ / nanu madīyatattvajñānaniṣpadyamānamuktimithyātvaṃ kathamityatrāhasantīti / bhavadīyaṃ tattvajñānaṃ nāvidyānivartakaṃ tattvajñānatvāt , svāpnatattvajñānavaditi hi suvacaṃ bhavadupadarśitadiśaiveti bhāvaḥ // 131 //132 //
mukterabhāvitvaprasaṅgo 'smākamiṣṭa eveti śaṅkate nanu nedamiti /
parihāsamukhena pariharatitadidamiti /
atra parihāraṃ śaṅkate paraḥavidyeti / ayaṃ bhāvaḥ - yadyapi muktirnityasiddhā brahmavidyayā notpādyā, athāpyavidyāpratibaddhāyāstirobhūtāyāstasyā abhivyaktyartha eva saphale brahmavidyāpariśramaḥ, sata evāprakāśamānatvenāsata iva sthitasyābhivyaktyarthaḥ prayatno yathā loke saphalo dṛṣṭastatheti // 135 //136 //137 //
atra yadyapyekāvidyāpakṣe śukasya brahmavidyayaivāvidyāpratibandhanivṛtteranyadīyaprayatnavaiphalyaṃ sthitam / athāpi dūṣaṇāntaramāhahantetyādinā / nānāvidyāpakṣasādhāraṇamidam / kimitarānapekṣaprakāśaikarūpasya cittattvasya svarūpameva vidyāsādhyābhiniṣpattiḥ, pratyutāhaṃ brahmāsmīti vṛttidhīḥ sākṣātkārarūpetyarthaḥ / brahmāsmītītyasyāgre vṛttidhīrityāhāryam / iti kīdṛśī-ityevaṃ jijñāsitaprakārābrahmāsmītīti vṛttidhīriti vā pāṭhaḥ syāt / apara itikāro vikalpasamāptau / ādye kalpe dūṣaṇamucyate yadītyardhena // 138 //139 //

atra kalpe dūṣaṇāntaraṃ cāhakiñceti / nityaśuddhabuddhamuktātmasvabhāvasyābhivyaktirvṛttirūpā cettasyā utpādavināśayogitvāttannivṛttau punaravidyā samunmiṣediti saṃsṛtibhayānativṛttiprasaṅga ityarthaḥ /
( ityekajīvavāde muktyarthapravṛttivaiyarthyādinirūpaṇam ) athāvidyāyāḥ nityamuktabhāvavyaktipratibandhakatvavacanamapi pareṣāmanupapannamityāhaapiceti / sati puṣkalakāraṇe kāryotpattervighaṭakatvaṃ hi pratibandhakatvam / mukteraniṣpādyatvāttatpratibandhakatvamavidyāyā na ghaṭate / saṃsāriṇaśca viṣayaprāvaṇyadasāyāṃ tattvasākṣātkārapuṣkalakāraṇasampattetevāsiddhyā tadanudaya iti na tatrāpi pratibandhakatvaṃ tasyā ghaṭata ityarthaḥ / saṃvidaḥ puṣkalakāraṇamiti tatpuruṣaḥ / siddhānte tu vidyāprāgabhāvarūpāyā avidyāyā na vidyāpratibandhakatvam / karmaṇastu vidyānutpattiprayojakasya niṣkāmakarmabhirnirāse svakāraṇādvidyāniṣpattiḥ / vidyāmāhātmyācca bandhakakarmanivṛttau karmaṇā saṅkucitaprasaraṇasya svābhāvikamasaṅkucitaṃ prasaraṇaṃ dharmabhūtajñānasya sadā muktāviti viśeṣo bodhyaḥ / atra pare pratyavatiṣṭheran - nanvasmanmate 'pi vastutattvāviśadaprakāśakarī nānābhramaheturavidyānādiriṣyate / vidyayā tannivṛttau ca svābhāviko viśadāvabhāsaḥ / viśadaprakāśapratirodhakaratvādeva ca pratibandhakatvavācoyuktistasyā iti / tān prati brūmaḥ-viśadaprakāśapratirodhakatvaṃ kintadutpattinirodhakatvam , utāho tannivṛttikaratvam / brahmasvarūpabhinnatve viśadaprakāśasya brahmaṇaḥ saviśeṣatvaprasaṅgāttadabhinnatve vācye 'nutpādyatvādeva tasya tatpratirodhakatvāyogānnādyaḥ kalpaḥ / dvitīye ca brahmasvarūpasyaiva nivṛttiprasaṅgaḥ / vaiśadyameva nivartate, prakāśastvanuvartata iti ca nirviśeṣavādinā vaktuṃ na śakyate / kiñca viśadaprakāśapratirodhikāyāṃ satyāmavidyāyāṃ kathaṃ sākṣātkāro bhavet ? so 'pyaviśadaścetprāthamikaśrāvaṇajñānasyevāvidyānivartakatvāyogaḥ / kiñcāvidyānivṛttau viśadasākṣātkāraḥ, tenaiva cāvidyānivṛttirityanyonyāśrayaḥ / kiñcāvidyānivṛttyanantarabāvino viśadānubhavasya prāgasattve mukteranityatvam , sattve ca saṃsārānupapattiḥ saṃsārānupapattiḥ prasajyate / naca nivṛttāvidyatvameva svarūpaprakāśasya svarūpaprakāśasya vaiśadyamiti vācyam , svaprakāśamātravapuṣi sadā vidyotamāne nirviśeṣe cinmātre brahmaṇi avidyānvayāyogātpragapi vaiśadyasyaivopagantavyatvāt / durghaṭatvāttatra padamañcatyavidyeti cettarhi tata eva muktāvapyavidyānvayaprasaktiriti muktasyāpi bhayaṃ bhavedeveti // 142 //143 //144 //145 //

nānājīvabhānasya na vyavahāhakāla eva bādhyatvaṃ śuktirūpyāderivetyāhaāsaṃsāreti / tatkṛtāḥ-jīvabhedaprayojyāḥ / svapnavṛttavilakṣaṇāḥ-svāpnārthavyavahāravilakṣaṇāḥ / ayamāśayaḥ-yathā svāpnārthavyavahārāṇāṃ svapna evāsattvaṃ pāścātyabādhānniścīyate vyavahāradaśāyāmeva, naivaṃ tadaiva jīvabhedaprayuktavyavahārabhedānāṃ bādho niścitaḥ / kintvanyajīvakṛtasyopakārasyāpakārasya vā sattvapratītyaiva āprājñādābālagopālaṃ tadanuguṇapravṛttisaṃrambho dṛśyate 'nuvartamāna āpralayāt / vyavahārakāle 'bādhyatvācca jīvabhedasya vyāvahārikatvameva paraprakriyayāpi, na prātibhāsikatvam / jīvabhedomithyā pratibhāsamānatvātsvāpnapuṃbhedavadityanumānaṃ ca vyavahāradaśābādhyatvena sopādhikam / tathā ca sūtraṃvaidharmyācca na svapnādivaditīti // 148 //
uktenaiva hetunā yauktikaikatvaniṣkarṣamapi nirākarotiteneti / tena-jīvabhedasya vyavahārakālābādhena / sarve jīvā ahameva jīvatvādahamiva, sarvāṇi śarīrāṇi mayaivātmavanti śarīratvāt maccharīravaditi jīvaikyayuktirjīvabhedasādhakayuktiparāhatetyarthaḥ / jīvabhedayukteḥ prābalyaṃ ca vyavahārābhādhyaviṣayatvādupalambhānuguṇyācceti bodhyam / nanu kā sā jīvanānātvayuktiḥ ? tāmāhapravṛttibhedeti /
sādhyānāṃ parātmanāṃ nidarśanībhūtasvātmabhinnatve nidarśanaṃ pradarśayatiyatheti /
parātmasu sādhakamuktam / tadanupagame bādhakamapyāhana cediti /
nanu saṃvinmātramekameva nānopādhiyogānnānājīvatayā bhāti / aupādhikajīvabhedaprayukta eva vyavahārabhedaḥ, svabhāvāsaṅkaraśca / upādhibhedo 'pi kalpita tavetyāśaṅkāmanūtyā pariharatina caupādhiketi /
nanūpādhibhede 'pyabhedāccitaḥ pratisandhānamiti cettatrāhatatheti / tathetyaniṣṭasamuccayārthaḥ / yatheti vā syāt / vastutaḥ sarvaśarīreṣu cita aikyātsarvagatasukhādipratisandhānaprasaṅga ityarthaḥ / na ca śarīrabhedasyai vātmabhedakatvam , nanu karacaraṇādibhedasyeti vācyam , saubharyādau śarīrabhede 'pi pratisandhānasya dṛṣṭatvāttasyāpi bhedakatvāyogāt /
nanu śarīrabhede 'pyātmaikyātpratisandhāne janmāntare 'nubhūtasyāpi janmāntare pratisandhānaṃ syādityatrāhaprāyaṇāditi / prabaladuḥkhānubhavasya saṃskārapramoṣakatvaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ loke prabalajvarādyarditasyādhītavismaraṇādinā /
( ityekāvidyākalpitaikajīvavādanirāsaḥ ) yugapaditi /
nānāvidyākalpitanānājīvavādamapi dūṣayatina ceti / avidyākalpitāścito nānājīṃvabhedāḥ / te ca svasvāvidyākalpitaṃ padārthajātaṃ paśyanti pṛthak pṛthak svapna iva / vyāvahārikā anye jīvā anyena na jñāyante / svena dṛśyā jīvāstu svāpnavatprātibhāsikā evetyetatpakṣasāraḥ / atra cānyaṃ jīvaṃ tadguṇadoṣādi vā vyāvahārikamanyo jīvastathābhūto na jānāti cettarhi tatsamāgamādiprasaṅgābhāvāt sahānubhūtayaikasādhyo 'nuvṛtto lokavyavahāraḥ kathaṃ nirvartyetetyarthaḥ / svāvidyākalpitameva paśyantītyuktyā paravārtānabhijñatvaṃ-vyāvahārikajīvāntaravṛttānabhijñatvaṃ sidhyati / na hi te jīvāntarāvidyākalpitāḥ / kintu mūlāvidyākalpitā eva / lokavyavahāro 'pi prātibhāsika eveti cettarhi ekajīvavādonmeṣaḥ / tatra ca doṣa ukta eveti hārdam // 156 //157 //
saṃvinmātre 'vidyākalpito meyamātṛbheda iti paramataṃ vistareṇa pratikṣiptametāvatā / atha saṃvidi parābhimataṃ nirviśeṣatvaṃ pratikṣipatikiñcetyādinā /
svarūpābhedātteṣāṃ na saṃvidaḥ sadharmatvamiti śaṅkāmanūdya nirācaṣṭesaṃvideveti /
nanvevamapi teṣāmaparamārthatvātparamārthadvitīyarāhityaṃ surakṣitameveti cettatrāhana ca te iti / tavāpi tattvedamparaśrutyantasiddhāste dharmāssaṃvido nityatvādaya ityeva matam / tattaiḥ saviśeṣatvaṃ durvāram / teṣāṃ bādhe tulyanayena saṃvido 'pi bādhaḥ syāditi dyotyate tattvāvedaketyādinā // 160 //

ādye iti / atyantābhede 'natiriktārthakatvātānando brahma satyaṃ jñānamanantaṃ brahmetyādau sahapāṭhasyānarthakyaṃ prasajyate / na hi ghaṭaḥ kalaśa iti sahapāṭhaḥ / brahmasvarūpaikyāsambhavaṃ ca teṣu dharmeṣu smārayatipūrvokteti / dvitīye kalpe tu brahmaṇaḥ saviśeṣatvaprasaṅga ityāhadvitīyaiti / saiva-bhavadabhimataviruddhaiva // 163 //164 //

atra vikalpya doṣamāhaapohā iti / nobhaye-na santo nāpyasantaḥ, sadasadvilakṣaṇā iti yāvat / apohānāṃ sattve doṣamāhasattve iti / apohānāṃ sattve taiḥ sataḥ sadvitīyatā syādityarthaḥ /
tṛtīyaṃ pratikṣipatisadasaditi / sadvyatireke 'sattvam , asadvyatireke ca sattvaṃ vyavasthitamiti sadasadbhinnatvaṃ kasyāpi na sambhavatīti pūrvamevoktamityarthaḥ / dūṣaṇāntaramāhatathātva iti /

( iti saviśeṣatvopapādanena saṃvido nirviśeṣatvanirasanam ) nanu vyāvartakadharmavattvaṃ na bodhyate / kintu jaḍādivyāvṛttirūpatvameva bodhyate jñānādipadairbrahmaṇaḥ / tanna jaḍatvādiprasaṅga iti cettatrāhapratiyoginīti / yogye pratiyoginyanupalabhyamāne 'dhikaraṇamātrajñānameva tadabhāva iti jñānaviśeṣarūpatvādabhāvasya jñānaviśeṣarūpaiḥ satyādipadalakṣyārthairabhāvairbhāvarūpaiḥ saviśeṣatā brahmaṇaḥ prasajyata ityarthaḥ / abhāvasya jñānaviśeṣarūpatvamiti mataviśeṣeṇedam / yadvā bhāvāntaramātradhīriti upalabhyamānaṃ bhāvāntaramityarthe paryavasannam / yogye pratiyoginyanupalabhyamāne tatrādhikaraṇe yadbhāvāntaramupalabhyate tadeva pratiyogivyapekṣayābhāvavyapadeśabhāgiti adhikaraṇavṛttidharmāntararūpatvādabhāvānāṃ taiḥ saviśeṣatvaṃ prasajyata iti bhāvaḥ / dvavye 'bhāvo dharmarūpaḥ / dharmasya tu svaparanirvāhakatvena svarūpamevābhāvaḥ, sati sambhave dharmāntaraṃ veti yathopalambhaṃ vyavasthā / yasmin pratīyamāne itarāropo na ghaṭate, tasyaiva tadabhāvarūpatvam / satsvarūpe pratīyamāna eva bhedānāmadhyāsācca tatra tasyaiva netarābhāvarūpatvaṃ sambhavi / na cāvidyayāviśadaṃ bhāsamāne sati bhedabhramaḥ / avidyānivṛtau viśadaṃ bhāsamāne tu na sa iti viśadasvarūpasyābhāvarūpatvaṃ sambhavatīti vācyam / vaiśadyasya svarūpatve pūrvamapyavidyādibhedāropāyogāt / svarūpātiriktatve tu tasyaivābhāvarūpatvaṃ na svarūpasyeti prasaṅgāt / kiñca nirviśeṣe svaprakāśe vastuni viśādāviśadabhānameva durvacam / saviśeṣe tu katipayākāreṇa bhānamaviśadam , sarvākārabhānaṃ viśadamiti viśeṣaḥ / kiñca brahmaṇo dravyatve sadharmakatvam , adravyatve tu kasyaciddharmarūpatvaṃ prasajyate /
pratyakṣādīnī ti / svasvaprameyaṃ yathāyathaṃ tattadasādhāraṇākārato vijātīyasajātīyāntaravyattamavagamayanti pratyakṣādīnīti prasiddham / tadasādhāraṇākāreṇa sadbhāva eva vastūnāṃ pramāṇānitāni , na tu sadasadanirvacanīyatva iti bhāvaḥ // 172 // 173 //
etadevopapādayati yatheti / nīle nīlamatiḥ , sphaṭike dhavalamatiśca naikaviṣayā , kintu parasparavyāvṛttaguṇaviṣayaiva ; tathā kṣīre madhuradhīḥ , nimbe kaṣāyadhīśca / tathā cārthabhedālambanatvaṃ jñānānāṃ sthitamiti bhāvaḥ / nīle nīlabuddhirekākārā ekaviṣayā / tatra nīle na nīlānyaguṇaprasaṅgaḥ / dhavalamatistu tato bhidyate bhinnākāretyarthaḥ / naivetyasyāgre tādṛgiti ākṣipyate / naivamiti vā pāṭhaḥ syāt / tattadvastvasādhāraṇākārabhede 'bādhitapratītimuktvā vyavahāramapi tādṛśamupanyasyati pramāṇatayā vyavahārā iti / abādhitapratyakṣādipramāṇatanmūlavyavahārabalādvastūnāṃ tattadasādhāraṇākāreṇa sattvamevopeyamiti bhāvaḥ // 174 // 175 //
śaṅkātrānūdyate satyamiti / pariharati na ta diti / sāghu iti śeṣaḥ / kāryabalāttadanuguṇaṃ mūlamabādhitapratītīnāṃ yathārthyavyavasthāpakamanumīyatāmiti bhāvaḥ // 176 //
aduṣṭendriyādereva mitiyāthārthye hetutvamanvayavyatirekasiddhaṃ nāpalapyaṃ cetyāha kḷpta miti / vastubhedo nirduṣṭendriyarūpeṇa pratyakṣapramāṇenaiva gṛhyate iti yāvat / atra śaṅkate yaugapadye ti / vyavacchedo bhedagrahaṇam / vidhānaṃ svarūpagrahaṇam / prātyakṣikapramiteryugapadevādhikaraṇatanniṣṭhabhedobhayagrāhitvaṃ na sambhavati , adhikaraṇagrahaṇasya pratiyogigraṇanairapekṣyāt , bhedagrahaṇasya tu tatsāpekṣatvāt / prathamamadhikaraṇasvarūpaṃ gṛhītvāthaṃ bhedaṃ gṛhṇātīti kramo 'pi na sambhavati , pramiteḥ kṣaṇikatvādviramya vyāpārāyogādvā / svarūpabhedayostadgrahaṇayoścaikyamapi na sambhavati / ataḥ svarūpagrahasyaiva pratyakṣapramitirūpatvam , bhedagrahasya tu bhrāntilakṣaṇatvameveti bhāvaḥ / śaṅkāṃ pratikṣipatīmām itī tyādinā / bhedo 'nyonyābhāvaḥ , itaretarābhāvaḥ - anyasminnanyasya saṃsargābhāvaḥ / yadvā bhedaḥ - saṃsārgābhāvabhedaḥ prāgabhāvādiḥ / itarerābhāvaḥ - bhedaḥ / tayoḥ svarūpayāthātmyājñānaprayukto niruktavidhaḥ pareṣāṃ bhrama ityarthaḥ // 177 // 178 //
bhedasya yāthātmyaṃ tāvadāha svarūpameve ti / svarūpaṃ - svāsādhāraṇākāraḥ
atra nidarśanaṃ yatheti / yathā bhūtalasvarūpajñānameva ghaṭādyanupalambhe sati tattatsmaraṇasahakāri ghaṭādiśūnyatāvyavahārasādhanaṃ matamabhāvasyādhikaraṇasvarūpatvavādināṃ tathetyarthaḥ / siddhānte tvadhikaraṇavṛttidharmaviśeṣarūpatvaṃ bhedāderiti vivekaḥ / ekasyaiva pritayogibhedena nānāvyavahārasādhanatvaṃ nidarśanamukhena draḍhayati hrasve ti / ekatraiva ṣaḍaṅgulimite vastuni tadapekṣayādīrghaṃ pādarthāntaramapekṣya hrasvavyavahāraṃ hrasvaṃ tadapekṣya dīrghavyavahāraṃ ca tadvastujñānameva tattatpratiyogismaraṇasahakāreṇa janayati hīti bhāvaḥ // 180 //
eva miti / svarūpalakṣaṇasya bhedasyādyakṣaṇa eva dharmigrahaṇe grahasambhavādbhedavyavahāra eva pratiyogismaraṇasyāpekṣitatvācca nānākāravibhinnapadārthasvarūpasya tattvaṃ pratyakṣapramāṇapramitaṃ nāpalapanārhamiti bhāvaḥ / asādhāraṇākārarūpasya bhedasya svaparanirvāhakatvānnānavasthā / tatprāgabhāvastatpūrvāvasthārūpaḥ / dhvaṃsastaduttarāvasthārūpaḥ / tadatyantābhāvastadadhikaraṇasvabhāvaviśeṣātmakaḥ / sāmayikābhāvaḥ / kālaviśeṣāvacchinnatattadadhikaraṇasvarūpātmakaḥ / eṣāṃ ca tattatpratiyogyuparaktatvena vyavahāre punastattatpratiyogismaraṇāpekṣeti viveko 'tra bodhyaḥ // 181 //
evaṃ bhedaprapañcasya sattva eva pratyakṣaṃ pramāṇam , na sadasadanirvacanīyatva iti sthāpitam / śāstrasyāpi na tatra prāṇāṇyamityāha āgama iti / āgamaḥ - śāstraṃ , kāryaniṣṭhatvāt - kāryārthapratipādanatatparatvāt , īdṛśeṣar'the -kāryānanvayini siddhe prapañcānirvacanīyatvādau , na pramā - na pramāṇam / mīmāṃsakamatenedam / siddhāntimatenāpyāha prāmāṇye 'pīti / siddhārthe śāstrasya pramāṇabhāve satyapi śāstrasya pramāṇaśabdamātrasya vā nānirvacanīyatvādau pramāṇatvam , na sannāpyasannityāderananvitārthakatvena śabdabodhājanakatvādityarthaḥ / tat tatpratipādakatayeva pratīyamāno 'pi sandarbho 'viruddhārthaparatayā neya iti hārdam // 182 //
athānumānasyāpi sadasadanirvacanīyatve na pramāṇatvamityāha nāsa diti / prapañcaḥ sadasadbhinnaḥ pratīyamānatve sati bādhyamānatvāditi yuktirapi na satī, prapañca sadasattvavān tata evetyābhāsa samānayogakṣematvāditi bhāvaḥ / nirupādhikasattvāsattvayorvirodho 'trā bhipretaḥ / tasmā diti / anirvacanīyatvasyāprāṇāṇikatvāttadupapādakāvidyākalpanaṃ bhavadajñānakāryamevetyarthaḥ // 183 //
(iti prapañcasya sadasadvyatirekitvarūpamithyātvanirasanam ) pramāṇābhāvāddūṣitaṃ sadasadanirvacanīyatvarūpaṃ mithyātvaṃ prakārāntareṇāpi dūṣayati kiñceti /
tathāsati brahmaṇo mithyāvastuguṇatvaprasaṅgādityanyatra vistaraḥ // 184 // 185 //
evaṃ mithyātvaṃ nirasya bhedaprapañcasya satyatvaṃ vyavasthāpayan parābhimataṃ sadadvaitaṃ pratikṣeptumupakramate sarvāṇyeveti / yathodita mityatra yathāyatha miti syādvā / yathoditamityasya na pratyakṣāderanirvacanīyapratyāyakatvamati pūrvanirūpitānatikrameṇetyarthaḥ // 186 //
svasvaprameyasyāsato 'bhāvādbhāvāntarebhyaśca vyāvṛttākāratāpratyāyakatvaṃ pramāṇānāṃ prasiddhamiti yaduktam , tadevopapādayati tathā hīhe ti / ihedānīṃ ghaṭo 'stīti pratītistadānīṃ tatra svāsādhāraṇākāreṇa ghaṭasya sattāmevāvagāhate , nābhāvam -nāsattām , na vā paṭatvādyarthāntaradharmavattāmityaryarthaḥ / tathā cāsadvyāvṛttaṃ sadantaravyāvṛttaṃ ca vastunaḥ santaṃ ghaṭādikameva pratipādayanti pratītayaḥ ghaṭo 'sti , paṭo 'stītyādaya iti sannānātvameva sidhyati , na sadadvaitamiti bhāvaḥ // 187 //
atra codayati nanvastīti / ghaṭapaṭādipadenāpi astītyuktaṃ sanmātramucyate cetsiddhaṃ saddvaitam / stor'thāntaraṃ cettena bodhyate tarhi ghaṭāderāpatitaṃ sadasada nirvācya tvam pratītibalāccāsadvyāvṛttiriti bhāvaḥ // 188 //
evaṃ sarvatra samānādhikaraṇavākye 'nabhimataviruddhākāraprasaṅga ityāha ānandeti / ānando brahmetyādau ānandādimātraṃ brahmapadenocyate cetpadāntarāmnānavaiyarthyam , tadatiriktabodhane tvānandānānandavilakṣaṇatvādi brahmaṇaḥ prasajyata ityarthaḥ / ānandapadenānānandavyāvṛttiḥ brahmapadena cānandavyāvṛttirbhavediti yāvat //
atathābhāvaḥ - anānandatvādiḥ // 190 //
parasyāniṣṭāntaraṃ ca prasañjayati sadasa diti / sadasadvyatiriktaḥ prapañca ityapi svārthātpracyaveta / niruktarītyā sadasadvyatiriktānyatvameva prapañcasya sidhyediti bhāvaḥ / ya diti / yatkiñcidapi vastu yathā - yena prakāreṇocyate , tasya sarvasya tathā - tvadupadarśitarītyā tatprakārarāhityaṃ prasajyatā ityarthaḥ // 191 //
(iti sadadvaitanirāsena bhedaprapañcasya pāramārthikatvasamarthanam ) sajātīye ti / vijātīya sajātīyāntaravyāvartakena svasvāsādhāraṇākāreṇa tasya tasya padārthasya yā sthitiḥ - kālasambandhaḥ pramāṇasambandho vā , sā tattatpadārthasya sattā / sā ca pratipadārthaṃ vyavasthitā , dhātvarthatvātkartṛparatantrā ca / tatsattāyāṃ svatantratvamadvaitaṃ ca bhavadabhimataṃ naiva yuktamiti bhāvaḥ // 193 //
evaṃ prameyabhūtasannānātvaṃ vyavasthāpya pramitinānātvamapi vyavasthāpayati parābhimatacidadvaitanirāsena naceti / viṣayāśrayaviśeṣaiḥ pratyakṣādisvagataviśeṣaiścānubhūyamānaṃ saṃvinnānātvamapi na kṣeptuṃ śakyamityarthaḥ / atra paraiḥ saṃvido nirviśeṣatve proktamanumānamanūdya pratikṣipati na vedya miti / saṃvidi nirviśeṣatvarūpaḥ sādhyadharma upagamyate na vā , upagamyate cennirnimitta ekasmin dharme pakṣapātaste prasajyate - eko dharma upadamyate , anye prāmāṇikā api nopadamyanta itītyarthaḥ / tathā cābhyupagatanirviśeṣatvavirodhaprasaṅga iti hārdam / pakṣabādhaḥsyā diti pāṭhāntaram / nopeyate cetsādhyadharmaḥ , tarhi tatsādhanārthasaṃrambhavaiyarthaṃ prasajyata ityarthaḥ // 194 // 195 //
ata iti / yathā rathādibhirvāhyairnaikyaṃ yātī ti pūrvamudritapāṭho 'śuddhaḥ / ataḥ - saṃvinnirviśeṣatvādyanumānapratikṣepāt , svarasto viṣayāśrayasvagataviśeṣairviśiṣṭā vilakṣaṇatvena sphuṭaṃ pratīyamānāḥ saṃvidaḥ yathāvasthitairvabāhyair ghaṭādibhirarthairnaikyaṃ yāntītyarthaḥ / vedyaveditrorvittyabhedamataṃ pratikṣeptumayamupakṣepaḥ // 196 //
sahopalambhaniyama iti / etacchlokasyottarārdhaṃ na cāsti citisāmānyaṃ sarvasaṃvedanāspada miti vā na cidasti sasāmānyaṃ sarvasaṃvedanāspada miti vā sambhāvyate / saṃvidā sahaivopalabhyamānatvājjñeyajñātrostadabheda iti na yuktam , tattatsaṃvedanaviśeṣeṇa sahopalambhaniyamābhāvāt , ekaṃ jñānaṃ vinā jñānāntareṇāpyarthopalabdheḥ / viśeṣeṇa sahopalambhasya vyabhicāre 'pi citsāmānyena sahopalambhaniyamo 'stīti cet , tadapi na samyak , viśeṣavyatiriktasya citsāmānyasyaivānuvṛttasya sarvaviṣayavijñānaviṣayasyābhāvadityarthaḥ / yathāmudritapāṭhe tvayamarthaḥ - sahopalambhaniyamo na siddhayati cet sarvaṃ sasāmānyaviseṣaṃ jñātṛjñeyātmakaṃ jñeyajātaṃ jñānabhinnatayāstyevetyarthaḥ / evaṃ mitimātṛmeyabhidāyāthārthyaṃ samarthitaṃ bhavati / ayaṃ ślokaḥ sahopalambhaniyamā dityādinā prapañca sphuṭamañcatī tyantena anūdyamānaparapakṣa pratikṣepabhāge susaṅgataḥ / tasmādupalabhyamānasaṃvitsiddhibhāgāntimaślokānantaraṃ saṃyojanīyaḥ / ayaṃ ca śloko jñeyajñātroḥ saṃvidaikyasādha kasahopalambhaniyamarūpahetorasiddhipratipādaka iti dhyeyam // 197 //
atra nirasanīyamatānuvādaḥ sahopalambhaniyamā dityādinā / arthaprakāśe niyamena saṃvido bhānāsiddhyarthaṃ tasyāḥ svaprakāśatvamāha yadetaditi / svayamprakāśatāpravṛttinimittakaḥ śabdo yasya tat svayaṃprakāśatāśabdaṃ svayaṃprakāśaśabdavācyam / anena sahopalambhaniyamaḥ siddhaḥ / yasmi nniti / saṃvitprakāśābhāver'thasyāpi na prakāśa iti saṃvitprakāśābhāvavyāpakābhāvapratiyogiprakāśasyārthasya saṃvidananyatvaṃ sidhyati, bimbāprakośe 'prakāśamānasya pratibambasyeva bimbānanyatvamityarthaḥ / abhāsamāna iti / ātmā - jñātā , artha - jñeyam / saṃvidvivartatvama saṃvidadhiṣṭhānakāropaviṣayatvaṃ prapañcaḥ - vedyaveditṛprapañcaḥ , añjaticchati , prāpnotīti yāvat / adhiṣṭhānasattātiriktasattāśūnyatvalakṣaṇaṃ saṃvidananyatvaṃ prapañcasya vivakṣitam / nīlapītādibāhyakāro vāsanākalpito jñāne iti yogācārapakṣaḥ , nīlāpītādyartho 'vidyākalpitastatreti māyipakṣaśca nirācikīrṣito 'treti bodhyam // 198 // 199 // 200 //
saṃrakṣyamāṇabhedāste nānumānānuvartinaḥ // 201 // etatpakṣaṃ pratikṣipati maiva mityādinā / evaṃ jñātṛjñeyalakṣaṇārthān mā sma paribhavaḥ, na pratikṣiperityarthaḥ / pratikṣepeṣāṃ kuto na ghaṭate ? tatrāha pratyakṣeṇe , ti / balavattarapratyakṣapramāṇasaṃrakṣyamāṇā ete na tvadīyasaṃvidaikyānumānānuvartino jñātṛjñeyabhedā ityarthaḥ / balīyastvaṃ ca pratyakṣasyopajīvyatvena / artheṣu saṃvidaikyasādhanārthaṃ hi arthānāṃ saṃvidaśca svarūpagrahaṇaṃ tāvadapekṣitam / tata eva ca mithasteṣāṃ bhedo 'pi siddha iti pratyakṣabādhitamanumānaṃ na pravartata ityarthaḥ / atra jvālābhedānumānavaiṣamyaprakāro vivṛta ātmasiddhau , tata evānusandheyaḥ // 201 //
tathā hi ti / anyonyānātmanā - parasparabhinnatvena , trayaṃ jñātṛjñeyajñānalakṣaṇapadārthatrayam / atra śrīparaśarabhaṭṭāryaśrīsūktiranusandheyā ahamidamabhivedmītyātmabittyorvibhede sphurati yadi tadaikyaṃ bāhyamapyekamastu / pramitirapi mṛṣā syātanmeyamithyātvavāde yadi tadapi saheran dīrdhamasmanmatāyuḥ iti // 202 //
pratyakṣeti / pratipakṣaṃ - viruddham / vahneranuṣṇatvānumānamiva pratyakṣabādhitamarthajñātroḥ saṃvidaikyānumānaṃ bhavadīyamiti proktaṃ bhavati // 203 //
kañci sāhityaṃ bhedaniyataṃ jñānārthayorhetughaṭakaṃ tadabhedasādhane viruddhamityāha kiñce ti / saṃvitsaṃvidā sahopalabhyata iti hi tavāpi na sammatam / tatsaṃvidā tatsaṃvidā sahopalabhyamānamarthajātaṃ niyamena tadbhinnameva bhavediti yāvat // 204 //
atra śaṅkate nīlādyupaplave ti / arthoparāgamantarā jñānaṃ bhāsate svāpādau / naivamartho jñānādvinā kadāpi bhāsate / tatpratibimbasyevārthajātasyamithyātvaṃ saṃvidi kalpitasyeti bhāvaḥ // 205 //
hetvasiddhimevopapādayati yasmāditi / nirbhāta iti śatrantātpañcamī / nirbhātādityarthaḥ / ghaṭādṛte bhātātatpaṭādṛte bhānaṃ ghaṭasya yathā sidhyati , tathār'thaṃ vinābhātājjñānādvinā bhānasarthasya sidhyatīti sahopalambhaniyamo nanīladitaddhiyāṃ sidhyatītyarthaḥ / nanu jñānenaivārthaprakāśasya vācyatvājjñānasya ca svaprakāśatvājjñānabhānaṃ vinārṃ'thabhānaṃ na yujyata iti cedevamapi sahopalambhaniyamo na yujyata eva jñānaviśeṣeṇa jñānasāmānyena vā , pūrvatra vyabhicārāt uttaratra paramate 'siddhaśce / idamartha eva sahopalambhaniyama iti 197 tamaḥ ślokaḥ , sa cātrānusandheya iti prāgevoktam / evaṃ mitimātṛmeyabhidāyāthātmyaṃ na nihnotuṃ śakyata iti vyavasthāpi tamatreti dhyeyam // 207 //
